Sweet November Stamps - Flight of the fairies

Billede
Hi friends! I am beyond ecstatic to announce that I've joined the Sweet November Stamps design team.  When I started making cards almost 10 years ago I bought layering stamps because I had no coloring skills nor intent to learn. Then I learned slowly by watching others color and Amy Young is who eventually gave me the confidence to color a whole card panel and creating my own backgrounds. So I feel very proud and honored. Thanks for the opportunity Amy and Tee. Today we're welcoming a new digital release - The flight of the fairies. There are 4 fairies to choose from and they are all adorable. I used Lavinia. When adding these cuties to my folder I spotted the cute Playful kittens and thought it would be fun to have one of them playing with the fairy. Then I thought it would be fun to have them on each side of a window. And once the idea had formed I couldn't let it go. I used the window from the Spring is back background builder set . Pop-up how-to

Billede
Hi friends, here's a how-to on my pop-up cards. Last summer I decided on finding a card design that was sort of interactive, yet not too dimensional, to make for the Danish Operation write home.  For those who don't know, the Operation write home delivers cards for military personnel to send home to their loved ones while deployed.  ~ My favorite things Mermazing, Elegant rectangle stax, Neat & Tangled Mermazing, Taylored Expressions Sweet scallop stencil The pop-up card design is not my original idea. It's been around for years, and I recall making one a looong time ago, but it was tedious and I didn't like the working process. But I recently saw Jennifer Mcquire make it this way, and I knew I had to give it a try. And once I'd made one they just flowed on out of my crafty quarters. They are really easy to make and add quite the dimension to the card. AND - they fold flat, which is absolutely perfect. ~ Whimsy stamps Whale of a time, Sunny Studios stamps Sea

Wondering Wabbit Stamps Abbis mum

Billede
Hey friends, today I'm sharing a card using Wondering Wabbit's Abbis mum . We'll, after seeing Abbis attitude I guess I can't blame Mum for her "mood poisening" 🤭 I just love these characters.  For this card I found an old piece of paper that I died with coffee. I had plans that it would still be visible after my play with Nuvo shimmer powders, but... Ack 🤷‍♀️ once I started there was no stopping me 🙈 I used Cherry bomb, Solar flare, Atlantis burst and Violet brocade.  Before doing that tough, I embossed the paper with Sunny Studios Sunburst embossing folder. Not that that's easy to spot.  I used one of the coordinating sentiments, and also My favorite things Little Letters dies.  Copics used  E13, E11, E21, E00, E000 E04, R24, R20, RV11, RV34 E57, E55, E53 E23, E59, E49 E44, E43, E42 BV04, BV13, BV02, BV01 W2 + RV13, RV21 *Ad / reklame* Since I'm on the design team.  Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy crafting!  Tina X

Metalline Red, next 1 layer of WOW! Pink Fizz and finally 1 layer of Recollections Vintage Pink.  It didn't need sequins and gems in my opinion, but my printer made a boo-boo and I needed to cover that.  *Ad / reklame* Since I'm on the design team.  Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy crafting.  Tina X

Wondering Wabbit stamps Winter Mouse

Billede
Hey everyone! I fell in love with this cutie the moment I saw him, so I made a card and a tag to go along with it. For the card background I masked off the bottom to make a snowy hill and blended the background with Salvaged Patina Distress ink and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide.  Unfortunately I made myself believe I had a Salvaged Patina Oxide and I colored the mice to match. So the inks looked a bit different and to hide that I added some texture paste through a snow stencil. Should I have added glitter? 🤔 Anyway, the sentiments come with the mouse and I just love Nathalie's snarky sentiments as much as her cute critters.  Tag die from Nellie's.  Copics used W5, W3, W1, W0, W00 + RV11 + RV34 BG15, BG13, BG23, BG11 RV04, RV02, RV00 C2, C1, C00 *Ad / reklame* Since I'm on the design team. Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy crafting.  Tina X

Wondering Wabbit Cozy Campfire

Billede
Hi friends, today I'm sharing a freebie stamp from Wandering Wabbit that you can get on Instagram through Stamplover24 It's basically lots of freebies during February, so go check it out! The stamp is one bird at the fire and one sentiment. So I first copy-pasted the stamp so the birds would be the same size. Then I covered the fire and fit the other bird with the fire next to it. I really love that the bird is so "open" that you can pretty much color any bird you want. I think it can be a penguin as easily as a Bull Finch. I've been fortunate to see a few Bull Finches in my garden this winter, so I colored Mr. and Mrs. Bull Finch.  Copics used 100, C9, C7, C5, C3, C2 R22, R20, R01, R000 E74, E71, E70 Y11, Y00 E44, E43, E42 W2, W0 E55, E57, E59 R14, YR15, Y11 BV13, BV01, BV00, BV000 *ad/reklame*   Since I'm on the design team.  Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting.  Tina X
