Hubby's birthday

Hello everyone! Today is my husband's birthday and I'm sharing the card I made for him.
My husband loves to grill. Anything, any weather! I stamped most the stamps from the Sugar Pea Designs Grill master, colored them with Copics and fuzzycut them out. And yes, I colored in some stains on the apron. My husband would stain it for sure!

Copics used:
Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000 + R32/B00
Hair: E44, E43, W1
Blouse: B24, B23, B21
Pants: W5, W3, W1
Apron: W3, W1, W0
Stains: YR27, YR23, YR21, W0 / E25, E31, E000, W0
Grill: 100, C7, C5, C3, C1
Steak: E23, E25, E47
Sausages: E11, E25, E47
For the background I ink smooshed Tumbled glass and Salty ocean Oxide inks. I added the My favorite things Entwined hearts die cut heat embossed with WOW! Pink Fizz embossing glitter. Just look at that pink popping off the card. And the glitter - LOVE!
Oh and by the way, grill daddy is actually holding a spatula, but I changed it into a sign and used one of the sentiments from the set.
I stamped a couple of sentiments from the set and poped up the images.

I appreciate you stopping by. Happy carfting!

Hello everyone! I LOVE! this wreath turnabout stamp from Concord 9th! I really feel it can be used for ANY occasion with the change of colors. I made a whole bunch of these for the Danish operation write home, but am only showing one of each color combination.

The so-so traditional: Tumbled glass, Blueprint sketch, Shaded lilac and Wilted violet Oxide inks. Sentiment - 'Merry Christmas' - from Panduro heat embossed with WOW! Metalline violet embossing powder.
The lovey-dovey: Spun suger, Picked raspberry, Barn door and Seedless preserves Oxide inks. Sentiment - 'Warm Christmas greetings' - from Brandt Lassen Design stamped with Barn door Oxide ink.
This fall-combo I turned into thank you cards using Wild honey, Barn door, Dusty concord and Aged mahogony Oxide inks. TAK - 'thank you' - die from Three Scoops cut from black cardstock and covered with Nuvo glaze. Aren't they all pretty?!

Stamping Bella birthday

Hello everyone! Since my daughter started school, I'm thinking she will need some birthday cards. And I would rather have them on hand than stress over them when she gets invited. So I will try to build a stash for this.
I stamped the Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Ring around the rosie, colored it with Copics and fuzzy cut it out.

Copics used:
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, R32 / V12, E21, E00, E000, R20 / E43, E31, E41, R11
Hair: E35, E37, E59 / E41, E43, E44 / V12, C3, C5, C7, C9
Blues: BG15, BG13, BG23, BG10
Yellows: Y21, Y11, Y00, Y000
Pinks: RV66, RV55, RV52, V000
For the background I blended New fish in pond, You said what and Happy go lucky inks from Waffle Flower. Then I placed the Mama Elephant Number it numbers 1-9, inked with WOW! embossing ink, sprinkled with WOW! Opaque white embossing powder and heat set it.
I stamped the sentiment from My favorite things Celebrate with Cake with the same pink ink used on the background and popped up both sentiment and image. I ran over the dresses with Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen.

Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting!

Guest designer for Alex Syberia Design

Hello everyone! I'm back with more Alex Syberia goodness. I know we're closing in on Christmas, but this might be my favorite in the new release. So pretty! You can find Alex' Etsy store right here.
I'm honestly not entirely sure which flowers they are, but they screamed soft spring colors to me. Maybe because all the rain and grey weather is getting to me.
I tried my best to fit it to an A2 size, colored it with Copics and die cut it with a My favorite things Wonky stitched rectangle die.

Copics used:
V17, V15, V12
RV66, RV55, RV52, V000 + Y11
YG03, YG01, G40
I added a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Tiny words and popped up the image. Before attaching to the base I colored the edge with my RV52 marker. Finishing touch was a couple of clear sequins.

Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting!

AAA Birthday game #7

Hello everyone! Today we are starting a new challenge over at AAA Birthday blog and the theme is Include a number.
So a couple of weeks ago a long-time friend of the family celebrated her 70th birthday. She enjoys the sweet retired life with golf and wine. These are her colors, but I suppose this may as well have been for a guy.
I die cut the Leane Creatief Golf bag and clubs and colored them with Copics. The Dixi Craft Tillykke (congrats) word die was also Copic colored.
I stamped the Threescoops wine bottle and 2 glasses from the God Årgang set and also a flower from the My favorite things Fancy Flowers set. After coloring them i fuzzy cut the wine images and die cut the flower. I used The Cat's Pajamas Your number is up and heat embossed with WOW! Midnight Dream - one of my favorites - and fuzzy cut those out as well.
I then die cut the big scalloped circle from MFT First place ribbon and ink blended with Tumbled glass and Broken china Oxide inks. On a Simple and Basic Pierced label I stamped a sentiment from the God Årgang set with oxide ink (means: Like a good wine you get better with age).
To fit all the pieces in I chose a square card, and I blended the base with Tumbled glass, Broken china and Faded jeans oxide inks over Whimsy stamps Formal lattice stencil.
I then popped all the bits and pieces up with craft foam for dimension.

Copics used:
Blues: B99, B97, B93
Reds: R89, R39, R85
Greys (golf): 100, C7, C5, C3, C1, C00
Greys (wine): W9, W7, W3

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to hop on over to the blog to see the inspiration from our guest designer as well as the rest of the team!

Happy crafting!

Guest designer for Alex Syberia design

You guys, I can't even with this gorgeous Merry Christmas digital stamp from Alex Syberia Design. I love this so much! It's part of Alex' new release and is now available in her Etsy shop.
I printed the image and colored it with Copic markers. I wanted to color the leaves blue, but 2 petals in I saw that I was coloring the wrong leaves 🙈 I decided to just go with it, and I really love the bold blue poinsettia! I then cut it with a My favorite things Wonky stitched rectangle die.

Copics used:
BG49, BG45, BG000
RV29, RV14, RV13, RV11
YR09, YR04, Y17, YR21
G17, G14
I colored the edge of the base with the BG45 marker and popped up the image. Finishing touch was adding a few matching sequins. This image also comes with a sentiment, but I didn't want to cover the gorgeous image. So I used one from MFT Merry everything.

Guest designer for Alex Syberia Design

Hello everyone! Are you ready for more Alex Syberia goodness? I simply couldn't help myself with this super cute Gingerbread house bouquet. So adorable! You can find Alex' Etsy store here.
I colored this with Copics - no surprise there. But I decided to keep it pink-themed. After coloring the image I fuzzy cut around the colored edge.

Copics used:
Gingerbread: E39, E37, E35, E34
Pink frosting + candy cane: RV29, RV25, RV23
Poinsettia: RV13, RV11, colorless blender + YG06
Hellebore: RV66, RV55, RV52, V000
Holly berries: R89, R39, RV29
Holly leaves: BG49, G17, G05
Orange: YR09, YR21, YR04, Y17
Bauble: YR27, YR23, Y17, Y11
Cinnamon: E29, E27, E23
Pine needles: G29, G17, G14
Backdrop shadow: R52, V000
I added some fine white glitter for frost/snow.
I then ink smooshed the base with Tattered rose and Picked raspberry oxide inks. When that was dry I used Spun sugar oxide ink over Threescoops Kalejdoskop/jul stencil. This image also comes with a sentiment but I decided to go with this sentiment from Clearly Besotted Laugh out loud Christmas sentiments.
