Custom made card for a hunter with 2 labs, who dreams of hunting deer. I know this may be weird to some, and honestly I don't like the concept of hunting. At all! But on the other hand, I do love a slow cooked deer shank. So, I went with it, and it turned out really great.  I don't use green much, and definitely not as a main color, but it really works for this. They are Twisted citron and Evergreen bough Distress oxide inks, and the edges blended with a bit of vintage photo. Dogs from Leane Creatief (Copic colored)  Riffle is a silhouette photo from google Deer from Impression Obsession - ink blended, Antique linnen, Vintage photo, Ground espresso oxides Trees from Joy! Crafts - ink blended, Antique linnen, Vintage photo oxides Numbers from Mama Elephant - heat embossed with WOW! Perissa Bullseye handmade from a Poppystamps circle frame and 2 strips of cardstock 

  Hello everyone! Halloween is just around the corner and I have just a few more cards I want to share.  I'll be honest, I did NOT! like this background when I made it. I was playing with spray inks and this one just came out too dark and brown when I'd wanted red/green. In an attempt to make it just slightly more interesting I added blue splatters. That only made things worse. But once I had die cut the Poppystamps Spellcaster witch and magical cauldron it all just seemed to fit. This witch is brewing up something nasty and poisonous in that cauldron! With my finger I softly added a bit of Finnabair Art Alchemy Metallique Cire Cera Wax (that must be the longest name in crafting history). I used the color Firebird. It's a coppery color with a beautiful shine!  I added the wax all along the front of the witch and along the folds of her dress. To protect the next "fold" I inserted a piece of cardstock into the fold, covering the previous fold. Hope that makes sense....

  Hi guys! Although Christmas seems far away it's never too soon to begin getting those cards done. Especially when they must travel around the world twice - to far away places in war zones and back home to families. In fact, believe it or not, we just about reached the deadline for the Danish Operation Skriv Hjem (operation write home) Christmas cards. The stamps are from My favorite things Holiday penguin and I colored the penguins with Copics. I ink blended the backgrounds with Distress ink (on the left) and Distress Oxide inks (on the right). For both I used Tumbled glass and Blueprint sketch. Before adding the penguins I white heat embossed the tree and a sentiment from the set. The "snow" was created by splotching a bit of water on the panels and then adding embossing powder. Yes, that actually works! The red baubles are cut from glitter cardstock. Hello everyone! Today I'm using more bits of my first ever play with gel press and oxide inks - find the combos here . I've been working to finish lots of cards for the next Operation write home shipment so I'll be sharing them over the next weeks. They have been delivered at a pick-up point and are currently en route to OSH Headquaters. For the first card I added a piece of gel press behind the Hello Bluebird photo frame. The faries and belongings are from The Greeting Farm Little faries set and they were colored a while ago so no combos for this one, sorry! I repeatedly stamped some of the tiny stamps from the set on the base of the card, for a little interest. I used Milled lavender oxide ink. The other 2 cards follow the same layout and came together really fast. For the sentiment I used Seedless preserves oxide ink, as this is also used on the gel press paper.   Hello everyone! Truth be told, I'm not a huge fan of slimline cards. That being said they do allow for a larger image, especially if the image is tall like this beautyful ballerina from Mo's digital pencil. I love her! Also I just figured out I can change the black lines of an image for no-line coloring. And although this image for no-line did intimidate me, sometimes you just gotta give it a go. Right?! Copics used: E13, E11, E21, E00, E000 E71, E74, E79 W7, W5, W3, W1 R85, R83, R81, RV10 For the background I used Victorian velvet oxide ink, first blended lightly then to stamp flowers from Poppystamps Blooming greetings.   Hello everyone! I'm back with a custom made romantic wedding. I don't do a lot of über romantic cards, but I went all out on glitter and girly here. I startet out by coloring Stamping Bella Brett and Brenda get married. I colored the dress with a soft pinkish glow and framed them with dots fading out to emphasize the couple yet adding a bit of pink. I added a thin edge of WOW! silver sparkle embossing glitter to the edge of the panel. The base is a soft peach cardstock. I used My Favorite Things Falling hearts stencil and added Ranger glossy paste through it. Then I poured over WOW! Peachy Keen Sparkles (a glitter). I let that dry completely and then made sure to flick off all the excess (quite a bit 🙈). I used the same stencil on the envelope and ink blended with Victorian velvet Oxide ink. Hi guys, today will be a short story. I've wanted to create a few cards for the current MFT sketch challenge. Actually, by now the link is probably closed, which is why they were linked earlier from another platform. And honestly they're quite simple. Although they're not an exact color match I also linked to the current color challenge. For both cards I used the Horizontal snow drifts cover and inked the drifts with oxide ink. Hello everyone! I'm sharing more opration write home card. The My favorite things Secret Santa set invites to build a scene. But I didnt want to color 4 trees AND all the presents, cookies etc AND the children. So I came up with this idea of stamping the scene in a coorsination color, but otherwise leave it uncolored, and then just add a couple of colored elements. And I honestly really like these!
