First Easter card of the season

Billede
Hello everyone! I'm sharing my first Easter card of the season. I don't usually make a lot of Easter cards, but these Simon Says Stamp bunnies are TOO CUTE! The Marianne Design frame I first heat embossed with Honeydew embossing powder, then Sorbet glitter embossing powder. Both from WOW! What that does is the glitter embossing powder sticks better, and since the colors match it's more intense. Also, the glitter is "melted" into the first layer of embossing powder which gives a much smoother surface AND it (almost) doesn't shed any glitter. Just look at that shine!  Copics used: Bunny: E35, E34, E31, E30 + RV02, RV00, RV0000 Basket: E51, E53, E55, YR27 + C1 Eggs: RV02, RV00, RV0000 BV13, BV01, BV000 Y08, Y06, Y00 G94, G43, G40 It's honestly a very simple card. Some light ink blending using Spun sugar and Worn lipstick Distress Oxide inks giving an ombre aura around the glitter frame. Sentiment "Happy Easter" stamp from

Love chicks

Hello everyone! I'm ba-aaack! I've enjoyed a long, wonderful vacation, a much needed break.  As I think I've already mentioned I don't celebrate Valentine's day. But that's not going to stop me from using the cute Stamping Bella Valentine Chicks. Love cards can be used all year round, right?! The are pretty much the same, except for the colors used. For this one I've used Spun sugar and Picked raspberry Distress inks to ink smoosh the background. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Love by Kristina Werner. I just love this set/die. I stamped in Versafine Onyx black ink and covered with WOW! clear embossing powder. I repeated twice for a smoother, glossy look. Would you believe I've lost my notes on the colors used, LOL! I'm unsure about the Y's.  Copics used: Chicks: C5, Y08, Y06, Y00 + YR09, YR04 Bows: V09, V17, V15, V12 Pink: RV29, RV25, RV23 Envelope: C1 Cupcake: E29, E25, E23 For this card I used Shaded lilac a

AAA Birthday Game #10

Billede
Hello everyone! Today we kick off a new challenge at AAA Birthday challenge blog and the theme is Cute! I printed this cute Connie Fong Princess Molly digital image and colored with Copics. Copics used: Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000 + R32 Hair: E50, E31, E34, E35 Purple: V17, V15, V12, V000 Grey: C3, C1, C00 Crown: C7, C5, C3, C1, V12 I Cut it with a Simple and Basic rectangle die and used a larger die to cut some Doodlebug paper. I ran over the dress, crown and balloon with a clear sparkle pen and covered the balloon with glossy accents for dimension.  I then used the new Hurra (hooray) die from Hobbyboden and cut 3 times from white cardstock and once from Tonic mat silver cardstock. I layered them and placed it on the card. Since the glossy accents had not yet dried I let the word cut sink into it. I added another sentiment (Smile! It's your day) also from Hobbyboden onto a pice of cardstock colored swith the same parple Copic markers as the dress.
