You're super!

Billede
Hello everyone! The daily marker 30 day coloring challenge has ended, but thankfully will restart on April 7th. Here I used a few super kids from the Sunny Studios Super duper stamp set. Scroll down for 3 different cards. Copics:  Suit: B29, B24, B23, B21  Hair: E23, E25, E27, E59  Gloves: C9, C7, C5  Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000 The background is Cracked pistacio, Peacock feathers, Mermaid lagoon, Blueprint sketch and Black soot distress inks. I also used the black with the Altenew City scene stencil. Once the ink had dried I added details with a white gelly roll pen. Very similar card. I'm realizing now that speed wind gust may look like a fart - haha, it's not 🙈 Anyway, I used Squeezed lemonade, Worn lipstick, Picked raspberry and Seedless preserves for the background. Copics: Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000 Boots/belt: 100, C7, C5  Suit: RV09, RV06, RV4, RV02 Hair: I tried putting down both sides of the stencil here, using black for one and blue/

Farm animal fun

Billede
Hi everyone! Well, maybe it's this stay-home situation that got to my head, but I needed a little fun. So today I played with Simon says stamp Birthday farm animals. And if you're anything like me, you buy lots of patterned paper that you hold on to for that one special project, but never use. Today I rectified that. For a little extra fun the balloon was given a layer of stickles AND Nuvo glaze on top. Copics for piggy: E07, E04, E11, R11, E000 Paper from Lawn Fawn and Reverse Confetti and My favorite things Cross stitch square dies. Paper from Lawn Fawn cut with MFT Stitched star dies and I added more O's to the Moo sentiment. A cow goes Moooo... Right? More stickles and Nuvo glaze to the stars. Although stickles don't usually shed I covered with Nuvo glaze because I'm donating these to the Danish operation write home. And there must not be any loose glitter. It can kill. For this I used Avery Elle bookmark to cut paper from Memory Box and Do

Movie night with Bella...

Billede
Hello Everyone! This is a first for me. One stamped image Stamping Bella Melissa loves movies (well 2, the popcorn is a seperate stamp) and then the whole panel Copic colored freehand. Yikes! I kinda wish I'd stamped the image a little lower, but I'd planned to use a different sentiment. I wanted it to look like they're cuddled up watching a movie. And from the look of the chicks it must be a horror one, lol! Copics used: Skin: E15, E13, E11, E00 + R14, R29 Hair: E49, E18, E39, E35, E53 Suit: RV09, RV06, RV02 Chicks: BG78, BG75, BG72, BG70 + YR27, YR23 Popcorn: E43, E42, E40, YR23, Y00 Box: BG72, BG70 Pillows: E79, E77, E74, E71, E70 Chair: RV99, RV95, RV93, RV91 + E49, E29, E25 Wall: W7, W5, W3, W1 Floor: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, E49 The sentiment is also a first one for me. It's handwritten.I just couldn't help myself. A) It's a Stamping Bella stamp. B) It's a line from one of my favorite movies and it could be what they'

Jungle vibes

Hello everyone! In recent events of sending our fur baby across the rainbow bridge I needed fun, happy critters and lots of color. I will add these cards to the pile of Danish Operation write home cards. All 4 cards are using My favorite things Jungle vibes stamps and dies as well as their Musical notes background stamp. The label stamp/die is Lawn Fawn Just for you labels. For this card I used STampendous black embossing powder with Spiced marmelade, Wild honey, Squeezed lemonade, Twisted citron and Lucky clover Oxide inks. For this card I used WOW! opaque bright white embossing powder and Twisted citron, Peacock feathers and Blueprint sketch Oxide inks. For this card I used a newly bought Recollections embossing powder, from Michael stores. It's a shimmery blue. So pretty. The Oxide inks are Tumbled glass, Mermaid lagoon and Blueprint sketch. On this card I thought it was fun to let the elephant wave a big feather, or palm. I cut along the black line and glue

Guest Designing for 52 CCT

Hello everyone! I wish I could say I have enough determination to make Christmas cards year round, because it would save me a lot of stress. But I just don't. I love Christmas, at Christmas. But I get really annoyed when the stores decorate at the beginning of October. I mean, seriously...? But - I was chosen winner at  Christmas card throwdown blog  this Christmas and asked to guest design. I'm honored and delighted to do so. And honestly, the My favorite things Happy pawlidays doggies are the cutest, and so I enjoyed this so much I made 2 cards. For the background I ink blended Candied apple Distress ink through a Three Scoops Christmas stencil. Love this stencil. The sentiment from MFT Handwritten holiday is heat embossed with WOW! Red glitz embossing glitter. Since the theme is Christmas lights I highlighted them with glossy accents. Copics used: E77, E74, E71, E70 R39, R29, R24 100, C7, C5 (nose) C3, C1 (hat/lights) I cut the panel slightly smaller th

Panda cuteness

Billede
Hello everyone! How about some panda cuteness to brighten our day in between all the Corona horror.  I bought this Simon says stamp Party like a panda set while on vacation and I couldn't wait to color the black and white cuties. The background honestly is one I tossed a while back. Tossed in the sense that it didn't fit my project. However, true to Kelly Latevola I don't throw anything out. And I'm glad I didn't because it fits this. It's simple ink smooshing using yellow/pink Distress inks for a spring look. On top I've white heat embossed the SSS Ornate background - one of my all time favorites. I used the 'tillykke' (congrats) die from Hobbyboden to cut pink glitter paper. Using a My favorite things pierced circle die I cut a piece of vellum to back the panda and popped it up. I hope that cheared you up! Thanks for stopping by, STAY SAFE and why not spent your home-stay crafting! This card is entered into: simon says

Easter card vol. 3

Billede
Hello everyone! I hope you're all safe and that the Corona outbreak will soon die out. Fingers crossed. One thing that will not change is that Easter is getting closer, so I'm sharing one more cutie bunny from Simon says stamp. The cute bunny is colored with Copics and popped up on a panel of Doodlebug patterned paper. I used a Marianne Design Bunny border and cut from green cardstock. I felt it wasn't standing out enough so I darkened it with Copics. Sentiment is from Panduro and final touch was adding a couple of drops of Ranger enamel accents. Thank you for stopping by, and happy crafting! This card is entered into: simon says stamp Flickr - crazy for coloring / the daily marker 30 day simon says stamp wednesday - use some green all sorts challenge - lots of dots color my heart colordare lil red wagon - etc. etc. etc. / 3 balloons, 3 enamel dots

Stencil Techniques - Poppystamps

Billede
Hello everyone! Today I'm up on the  Poppystamps Blog  with a series of stenciling techniques. Simple stenciling with one color of ink, also using patterned paper. Ink blending for depth. Check out the labels - so romantic, don't you think? My favorite - texture paste with glitter embossing powder. L-O-V-E!!! Texture paste with watercolor powders. These shimmery colorburst powders from Nuvo are so gorgeous! And finally partial stenciling. I love that wheelbarrow and whimsical flower branch - so cute. And the glitter paper - sturdy, very glittery, cuts easily. Oh, and the Fairy Sugar - gorgeous! There are a few more details over on the  Poppystamps Blog  including product links.  Please let me know if there's a technique you'd like me to cover in the future. Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting.
