Gnome slimline card

Billede
Hello everyone! I'm up on Alex Syberia's blog today with a cute gnomes slimline card with lots of spring vibes! You can find the image here . I initially thought about making the card using only 2 of the gnomes. Check out the couple in bright pink and yellow hats holding a flower and bunny - how perfect would they be for an Easter card?!  But then I just loved them all too much and the sentiment (made in MS Word) came to mind. The "Gnome" is the only dimension on my card, the rest is all in one layer since this is a finished slimline image. Here's a close-up of one end (because we all know how hard it really is to fit a slimline card into a photo)... And here's a close-up of the other end. I colored it with Copics using only 3 color groups + neutrals. These cuties were just screaming for spring colors! Copics used: E13, E11, E21, E00 RV09, RV06, RV02 RV04, RV02 RV14, RV13, RV11 G99, G94, G43, G40 YG17, YG13, YG11 Y17, Y08, Y06, Y02 Y17, YR24, E99, E35 - mid

Sassy grungy love card

Billede
Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a different kind of love card. Kristina from ScrapSalig was so sweet to gift me this gorgeous digital stamp. Did you know she now has rubber stamps too? They're on her own website and if you're not in Sweden you might have to send her an email. But she's the sweetest girl, so don't be shy 😉 I honestly should've used my black regular Distress ink, but I chose the oxide one because I thought it would give a little more when using water. It just wasn't dark enough so I ended up swiping the whole pad across the bottom left side of the panel and then blending it out. I flicked on some water and also splattered diluted black soot oxide. I die cut the My favorite things Hearts entwined, heat embossed it with a selfmade mix of WOW! Metalline red embossing powder and WOW! Your carriage awaits, which is a actually a glitter. I cut it in 2 pieces to fit it on both ends of my image. I poped up the image for dimension and as you can

Zodiac - Aquarius

Billede
Hello everyone! Popping in here real quick today because I wanted to post which Copics I've used for this. But basically I decided to begin on a Zodiac coloring series. I recently purchased a set of digital zodiacs from YamPuff and also own a mix of zodiac digital and rubber stamps that I will be (trying to) create with during the next year. As you can see the image the aguarius sign and "Aquarius" is also part of the image. I like it there and opted not to add a sentiment. Copics used: Skin: E00, E21, E11, E13, E04 + R22 Hair: E51, E53, E35, E57 Dress: BG78, BG75, BG57, BG53 Eyes: BG75, BG05, BG01 Flowers: BG72, BG10 Watering can/Sign: BV04, BV13, BV01, BV000 + W5, W3, W1 Sea: BG11, BG13, BG15, BG49, BG75 + B97, B99 Hill: C9, C7, C5, C3 Moon: E50, E51, E53 + C3, C1 Sky: B00, B21, B23, B24, B26, B37, B39 Thanks for stopping by! AAA Birthday challenge - Game #22 A large sentiment

Billede
Hello everyone! Today we are starting the February challenge over at AAA Birthday and the theme this month is A large sentiment. I haven't done anything out of the ordinairy with this card, but I'm really happy with the coloring. I used the gorgeous Sketched Peony digital stamp from Alex Syberia Design. My mom's birthday is in a few days and I hope she'll like the card. As always I used my Copics to color in the flower: RV69, RV17, RV09, RV06, RV04, RV02 YR24, Y11, Y02 I cut the panel with a rectangle die and cut out the Tillykke/"congrats" sentiment from the panel, both dies are from Simple and Basic. I cut out 5-6 more sentiments from pink cardstock, layered them and inlaid it into the panel which I adhered to a slightly larger pink panel. I hope you like my challenge inspiration this month. Don't forget to hop on over to the AAA Birthday blog to check out more inspiration from the talented DT and guest designer, as well as join in the fun. I can
