Wondering Wabbit stamps Winter Mouse

Billede
Hey everyone! I fell in love with this cutie the moment I saw him, so I made a card and a tag to go along with it. For the card background I masked off the bottom to make a snowy hill and blended the background with Salvaged Patina Distress ink and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide.  Unfortunately I made myself believe I had a Salvaged Patina Oxide and I colored the mice to match. So the inks looked a bit different and to hide that I added some texture paste through a snow stencil. Should I have added glitter? 🤔 Anyway, the sentiments come with the mouse and I just love Nathalie's snarky sentiments as much as her cute critters.  Tag die from Nellie's.  Copics used W5, W3, W1, W0, W00 + RV11 + RV34 BG15, BG13, BG23, BG11 RV04, RV02, RV00 C2, C1, C00 *Ad / reklame* Since I'm on the design team. Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy crafting.  Tina X

Santa banner cards

Billede
Good morning, everyone! Can believe in 2 weeks Christmas is over and it's once again a whole year away. Days are moving really fast, for me at least.  Here are 3 cards I created with my new Tim Holtz Colorize Santa Greetings die.  Die cutting is not typically my thing so I struggled with these, I'll be honest. But I love the result, and the Santa is just the cutest. So it was all worth it.  For the background I used  Simon says stamp Center cut Christmas icons  Nellie Snellen tree dies I used a mix of cardstock, including some non shedding from Rema1000 for the trees and Santa beard, and Nuvo mirror card for MERRY and GOD JUL (merry Christmas).  I also added stickles for extra sparkle.  On the green trees I added Liquid Applique and added glitter before I set (puffed) it. That tiny bottle is finally completely empty, after 10 years, so now comes the hunt for a new one.  Hope you enjoy the cards. Merry Christmas to all.  Happy holiday crafting...

3 images, 1 sketch - part 1

Billede
Hey everyone! Once again I searched through my stash of already colored images for cards for the Danish Operation write home. I found 3 different images - all colored in 3 copies and cut with circle dies. So I found a sketch (an older MFT sketch from their  archive ) to fit them all. I cut all the pieces and stamped all the sentiments at once which helped ease the process. These feature a Kenny K digital image. Kenny K stamps sadly closed some years ago now. Other products used: Gitte's eget design Mix & Match - Du (sentiment means "You are so sweet") Nellie Snellen nesting circle dies Unbranded patterned paper Ranger Dylusions spray  Thanks for stopping by! Stay safe, and happy crafting! Friends of Rachel Vass IG hop

Billede
Hello everyone! Today we are celebrating our friendship with Rachel Vass. Rachel is a very talented artist and a wonderful human being. A bunch of crafters joined forces to share lots of amazing inspiration using Rachel's gorgeous digital stamps. Check them out in her Etsy store here ! Hop on over to my instagram to join the IG hop with some amazing prizes to be won and of course to check out all the inspiration 😉 Initially I was going to make an anniversary card with those cute bunnies from the Hugs set but then decided I needed a card for a friend. I created the 2 flower borders by layering 4 different elements from the Special to me set . And yes, you guessed it. I Copic colored them using these markers: RV25, RV13, RV10 G05, G02, YG11 E30, E31, E33, E34, E35 W3, W1, W0 I used an oval frame from Nellie Snellen to cut an opening in my cardbase and adhered the fuzzy cut flower borders at the edge. On the inside of the card I ink blended a bit of Tumbled glass and Mermaid lago...

Shadow box cards

Billede
Hello everyone! I've been thinking about how I could make some kind of interactive cards for the Danish Operation write home. I figured that Shadow box cards would be the perfect solution because they fold to a standard card size yet pop up for a little fun. I absolutely love how these came out but they do use more cardstock. Maybe I'll try and change the size to accomodate more of these. For each card I used 2 pieces of cardstock sized 10,5 x 19 cm (finished card size is A6 - similar to US A2) and scored 1 and 2 cm from both ends. Fold them in different directions and when put together you have a very easy shadow box card. Follow instructions  here . I cut an oval from one panel and a smaller size from colored cardstock. I adhered the colored panel inside the white for sturdiness. After all they will go around the world, possibly twice. I didn't think to add the sentiment before adding the colored panel, but I did stamp it before putting the front and back panels togethe...

18th Birthday masculine card

Billede
Hello everyone! I'm sharing a custom made card for a young man celebrating his 18th birthday. Key words: hot babe. In Denmark we are generally more tolerant with this kind of thing. It's often joked with and not looked down upon. I figured he'd probably be into card as well, so I stamped and black heat embossed the cars from Honey Bee stamps Car show onto watercolor paper. Then I used a clear embossing paste through a new Gummiapan stencil No.3. I really like that one. Next I applied Tumbled glass and Faded jeans Distress ink re-inker directly to the top of the paper and sprayed liberally with my Distress water spray. I dried it in between layers and repeated the process with the bottom of the card. I also sprayed with Speckled egg and Spiced marmelade Oxide sprays. The hot babe is a Kenny K digital stamp. Sorry to get your hopes up, because they sadly closed years ago. As always I colored with Copics: Skin: E15, E13, E21, E11, E00 + R32 Eyes: B24 Lips: R22, R29 Hair: E51...

AAA Birthday challenge Game #15 3D

Billede
Hello everyone! It's July - can you believe it? I sure can't! I'm not even sure the weather is corresponsing. But today we are starting a new challenge over at AAA Birthday challenge blog and the theme is 3D. I decided on a Pop-up shadow box card with the whole herd getting together for a fun, festive birthday party. I used this  tutorial from Jennifer McGuire. However I dared change the card meassurements a bit even though I've failed at that before. This time it worked out though, lol. I cut 2 panels 15x18 cm (~5.9x7 inch) with my trimmer. I also cut 2 panels 15x15 cm. One of these smaller panels I will adhere to the back of the card for sturdiness and for a clean spot to write a birthday message. I scored the 2 large panels at ½" and 1" at both ends and creased the folds with my bonefolder. From one panel I then cut an oval window using a double pierced frame from Nellie Snellen. I first ink blended the front panel using Twisted citron, Mowed lawn...

Birthday card for Sis

Billede
Hello everyone! I'm back with a card that's anything but cas! I often find that making cards for a specific person is easier than "just" making a card that's for "anyone". And I've said before I'm a more-is-more kinda person. Yet sometimes I feel that maybe I went a bit too far... This may be more of a shabby chiec type of card. I don't know. What do you think? I started by coloring this fun Stamping Bella image - Uptown Girls Whitney and Wendy love wine. Those ruffles! And of course I had to give at least one dress a glitter treatment, lol! Oh, wait, what's that? Yes, they are glitter stilettos as well. Copics used: Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000 + R32, R20 Hair: E41, E43, E44 / E23, E25, E29 Dresses/Hats: RV69, RV29, RV25, RV23, RV21, RV10 / B39, B37, B26, B24, B23, B21 + BG57, BG53, BG01 Bottle/Wine: C7, C5, C3 + R89, R46, R35 I chose a square card base and a whole bunch of dies. Base layer is a patterned paper (local store) an...

Birthday card for my niece

Billede
Hello everyone! Thursday was not only my Dad's birthday, but also my little niece's first birthday. I can't believe she's 1 already! She's in such a hurry - walking at 9 months, throwing things, climbing onto things in order to reach, eating hardy meals, etc. We've all celebrated her (and her daddy) today, and I told Mommy (my sis) that I expected my niece to have her own cake. Well, here's one at least, lol! On Neenah cardstock I printed The Paper Shelter You're my cuppycake, colored it with Copics and die cut with a Nellie Snellen Straight dotted oval die. I wanted the hair color close to reality (yes, she's hot tempered, ha!), but man was it difficult matching girly colors with that color hair! Copics used: Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000, R20 Lips: RV14, RV13, R20 Hair: YR21, YR23, YR27, E37 Skirt + buttercream: R85, R83, R81, RV11 Blouse: BV17, BV13, BV02, BV00 Chocolate cake: E49, E59, E25, E23 Vanilla cake: E25, E34, E31 ...
