Alex Syberia Design June release

Billede
Hello everyone! The all new Alex Syberia Design June release is now live. We're celebrating with an Instagram hop with 5 gift cards to Alex's shop. Hop on over to my Instagram account or go directly to Alex's Instagram account to start from the top.  As it is a June release it's all about summer. And here in Denmark fresh strawberries bought directly from the farm is a clear indication that summer is here. I used the Strawberry panel 2 and colored with copics: RV69, RV29, RV25, RV02 YG06, YG01, YG00 + W1 G94, G43, G40 G07, G05, YG11 I cut a peace of green cardstock for base and inkblended the edge with Moved Lawn Distress ink. I spritzed the leftover ink on my glassplate with water and splattered over the panel. I did the same with a black and gold acrylic paint.  I backed the strawberry panel with a thin strip of black cardstock and another strip that I had heat embossed with Hero Arts Gold embossing powder and adhered it to the base. MFT Sketch and color challenge

Billede
Hi guys, today will be a short story. I've wanted to create a few cards for the current MFT sketch challenge. Actually, by now the link is probably closed, which is why they were linked earlier from another platform. And honestly they're quite simple. Although they're not an exact color match I also linked to the current color challenge. For both cards I used the Horizontal snow drifts cover and inked the drifts with oxide ink. For this I used Shaded lilac, Tumbled glass and Salty ocean. The stamps are MFT Cooler with you. The sentiment is from Polar pals. Copics used: Bear: E59, E37, E34, E31 RV14, RV13, RV10 C9, C7 Snowman: C3, C1 100, C7, C5, C3 YR09, YR04 BG49, BG15, BG23 E39 For this card I inked the drifts with Shaded lilac, Tumbled glass, Peacock feathers. The stamps are from MFT Beast friends. Copics used: Yeti: E43, E42, E40 + E74, E71, E70 Lights: B26, B24, B21 Hat: B37, B26, B23 + C3, C00 Thanks for stopping by, an

Even more SSS party pandas

Billede
Hello everyone! This Simon says stamp Party like a panda set is just so cute. I had more pandas colored, so I finished a few more cards. I used sentiments from the panda set as well as CZ design Birthday palooza. I stamped confetti around the panda. Copic used: W3, W1, colorless blender B37, B24, B21 BG09, BG07, BG05, BG01 G05, YG06, YG01 I kept them alike and simple, no dimension, no glitter, as I intend to put these into my Operation write home pile. And by the way, I'm loving this pink / purple / yellow combo. Copics used: W3, W1, colorless blender RV09, RV06, RV02, RV10 V17, V15, V12 Y08 Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting! Hello everyone! This Simon says stamp Party like a panda set is just so cute. I had more pandas colored, so I finished a few more cards. I blended Salty ocean and Blueprint sketch Distress inks through Simon says stamp Mod stripes stencil and added sentiments from the panda set as well as CZ design Birthday palooza. Copic used: W3, W1, colorless blender B37, B24, B21 BG09, BG07, BG05, BG01 G05, YG06, YG01 E50, E51, E53, E55 + E23, E25, E29 I chose not to use the stencil on this one. More CAS I guess, although that's not my preferred type. But I kept them simple, no dimension, no glitter, as I intend to put these into my Operation write home pile. A funny Father's day card

Billede
Hello everyone! So, Father's Day in Denmark was actually this Friday, June 5th. This image sort of looks like my dad, but not really. I mean, wearing... not a lot, laid back - more like lying, a mug full of gin... nahhh, only on weekends (not true, guys), remote in hand? Definately! The image is a digital stamp from Dr. Digi and is cut with a rectangle die from Simple and Basic. Copics used: Skin: E13, E11, E00, E000 Eyes: BG72 Hair: C1, C3 Shirt: W3, W0 + colorless blender Shorts: B97, B95, B93 Socks: 100, C9, C7, C5, C3, C1 / R39, R29, R27 + 100 Mug: W3, W0 + colorless blender / R29, R24, R14 Remote: C7, C5 + W5, W3 + B9 Chair: E37, E35, E34, E31 The sentiment and gummy bears on the base are from Three Scoops Du er sød (you are sweet). I heat embossed the gummy bears with clear embossing powder and ink blended Faded Jeans Distress oxide ink over. Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting! The card is entered into: http://timeoutchallenges.

AAA Birthday challenge Game #14 - Use vellum

Billede
Hello everyone! Today marks the start of a new challenge over at  AAA Birthday challenge blog . The theme this month is - Use vellum. There are so many "fine details" you can do with vellum. But I've long wanted to make a card with vellum over alcohol ink. I typically make several backgrounds when I play with alcohol inks. I use different combos and on some, like this, I add a mixative. This is gold. They tend to not blend as well as the inks, so I really tried hard to spread them. Perhaps even too much. Oh, well.... I then stamped the gorgeous roses from Honey Bee Stamps Everything wonderful on vellum with embossing ink. covered with Hero Arts gold embossing powder and heat set it. I don't have the die so I fuzzy cut the image. I added the tiniest dots of glue all around the back of the vellum and adhered it to my alcohol ink base. I stamped a sentiment from the HB set using Stazon solvent ink and adhered a few gold sequins. I hope I've inspired yo
