  Today I had a bit of fun with Sweet November Stamps Dew Drop and I decided to create 2 cards, because she's just so cute! I created a scene using the So enchanting: Rainbow background builder and sentiments. The unicorns turned very diffently and I was surprised that I like the blue one better. Which is your favorite?   Hey everyone! I don't celebrate Valentine's but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate a tiny heart and paper hug. Swipe to see the finished cards. I found the adorable Animal Valentine's collection in the @ramstamps shop and I couldn't decide on which to use, so I colored them all up and added them onto bookmarks cut from some of the wonderful digital papers in the shop. I then figured they'd make a wonderful set of donation cards for the Danish operation write home and so i prepared 4 card panels with some ink and a couple of stencils and the wrapped a piece of vellum around the panel to hold the bookmarks. Sentiment means "You are the best chapter of my life".   Hi friends, here's a how-to on my pop-up cards. Last summer I decided on finding a card design that was sort of interactive, yet not too dimensional, to make for the Danish Operation write home.  For those who don't know, the Operation write home delivers cards for military personnel to send home to their loved ones while deployed.  ~ My favorite things Mermazing, Elegant rectangle stax, Neat & Tangled Mermazing, Taylored Expressions Sweet scallop stencil The pop-up card design is not my original idea. It's been around for years, and I recall making one a looong time ago, but it was tedious and I didn't like the working process. But I recently saw Jennifer Mcquire make it this way, and I knew I had to give it a try. And once I'd made one they just flowed on out of my crafty quarters.   Hi friends! Shring more Christmas cards from last year for the Danish Operation write home. I used one of my favorite sets for Christmas - My favorite things Happy pawlidays along with Simon Says Stamp Christmas background, Simple and Basic dies, Altenew inks and Copic coloring. Hi everyone! Sharing a couple of Christmas cards I made last year for the Danish Operation write home using Mama Elephant Snow Angels, My favorite things Joyous Christmas Sentiments, a couple of inks and Copics for coloring. On this last card I accidentally used a different color ink and it's more yellowish green than light blue. I didn't like it a lot, but opted to use it anyway. What do you think?   I know Christmas is long over, but I still have Christmas cards to share. Hope you don't mind. So I couldn't send off Christmas cards for the Danish operation write home without using my favorite set - My favorite things Secret santa. I kept them really simple, and honestly my starting point was using just one marker for everything colored. But then I changed my mind and I did use a little more. I used pinks for the girl cards and reds for the boys cards. The Simple and Basic Julekram (Christmas hug) die is died with Distress ink smooshing.  And the matte? I used My favorite things All lined up background stamp and, honestly, I just didn't like it. So I changed directions and used the SSS stencil instead.   Hi guys! Although Christmas seems far away it's never too soon to begin getting those cards done. Especially when they must travel around the world twice - to far away places in war zones and back home to families. In fact, believe it or not, we just about reached the deadline for the Danish Operation Skriv Hjem (operation write home) Christmas cards. The stamps are from My favorite things Holiday penguin and I colored the penguins with Copics. I ink blended the backgrounds with Distress ink (on the left) and Distress Oxide inks (on the right). For both I used Tumbled glass and Blueprint sketch. Before adding the penguins I white heat embossed the tree and a sentiment from the set. The "snow" was created by splotching a bit of water on the panels and then adding embossing powder. Yes, that actually works! The red baubles are cut from glitter cardstock. The cheap kind that only slightly sparkles, since we can't take any chances with glitter. I used the "berry...
