Wondering Wabbit Stamps Abbis mum

Billede
Hey friends, today I'm sharing a card using Wondering Wabbit's Abbis mum . We'll, after seeing Abbis attitude I guess I can't blame Mum for her "mood poisening" 🤭 I just love these characters.  For this card I found an old piece of paper that I died with coffee. I had plans that it would still be visible after my play with Nuvo shimmer powders, but... Ack 🤷‍♀️ once I started there was no stopping me 🙈 I used Cherry bomb, Solar flare, Atlantis burst and Violet brocade.  Before doing that tough, I embossed the paper with Sunny Studios Sunburst embossing folder. Not that that's easy to spot.  I used one of the coordinating sentiments, and also My favorite things Little Letters dies.  Copics used  E13, E11, E21, E00, E000 E04, R24, R20, RV11, RV34 E57, E55, E53 E23, E59, E49 E44, E43, E42 BV04, BV13, BV02, BV01 W2 + RV13, RV21 *Ad / reklame* Since I'm on the design team.  Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy crafting!  Tina X

Alex Syberia October release is now live - Halloween fun with layering and masking stamps

Billede
Hello everyone! The October release from Alex Syberia is now available in her Etsy shop . This release has cute and spooky halloween stamps, as well as gorgeous flowers. You're going to love it! Today I'm sharing 2 cards with you that was created in somewhat the same way. For this first one I layered the Spider web 1 from Spider web bundle over the Halloween pumkins. It was a little tricky seeing all the details of the pumpkins through the intricate spider web, I'll be honest. But it was totally worth it. Copics used: YR09, YR68, YR04, YR21 G99, G24, G40 When printing the panels I made sure to print on regular printer paper as well. I fuzzy cut the rows of pumpkins out of the printer paper, added Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue to the back and let it dry (any glue that dries tacky will work).  Once the glue was dry I layed it over my colored panel and ink blended using Altenew inks from Cherry blossom and Shades of purple. I really like the look of the pumpkins peeking out ...

Birth board / Dåbstavle

Billede
Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing this custom made birth board. It's a danish tradition that we call "dåbstavle" or birth board - at least I haven't heard of anywhere else doing this 😅  It features the name of the new baby as well as birth data - date and time, hospital where birth took place, weight and lenght at birth. This piece is letter sized - 21x30cm or close to 8.5x11 inches. Although very large there isn't really a new or difficult technique to this, I just thought this large project deserved a little extra attention. So obviously some of this was done on my computer - the name (no fill) and all the data. Then I stamped the Sunny Studios Super Duper super heroes and added a few lightnings and puffs. Since this is for a boy I masked off the pony tail and hair bun on the girl images. Some of the speech bobbles were stamped, some were outlined from a Clearly Besotted stencil and a few were hand drawn.  Once everything was colored I masked off everything...

Lots of rainbows

Billede
So I colored a few Concord 9th rainbow unicorns during the daily marker 30 day challenge, and now I've put them on cards. For the first one I used a dark grey cardstock for base. I stamped the sentiment with WOW! embossing ink and covered with gold embossing powder.  I then used the small star stamp and stamped with embossing ink along the bottom as sort of a trail of gold glitter from the unicorn. I covered with Fairy tale embossing powder. Once the unicorn was adhered I wanted a little more sparkle. Out of fear of covering too much color I carefully added a light layer of stickles to the tail and mane. For the second card I used black cardstock for base. I first white heat embossed the sentiment, then used WOW! Mint macaroon on top. I had to layer them because the mint powder is translucent. I layed over the Newton's Nook Confetti stencil and spread a layer of Nuvo Glacier paste Sea sprite. Looks gorgeous on black! This unicorn is wearing a party hat, ...

You're super!

Hello everyone! The daily marker 30 day coloring challenge has ended, but thankfully will restart on April 7th. Here I used a few super kids from the Sunny Studios Super duper stamp set. Scroll down for 3 different cards. Copics:  Suit: B29, B24, B23, B21  Hair: E23, E25, E27, E59  Gloves: C9, C7, C5  Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000 The background is Cracked pistacio, Peacock feathers, Mermaid lagoon, Blueprint sketch and Black soot distress inks. I also used the black with the Altenew City scene stencil. Once the ink had dried I added details with a white gelly roll pen. Very similar card. I'm realizing now that speed wind gust may look like a fart - haha, it's not 🙈 Anyway, I used Squeezed lemonade, Worn lipstick, Picked raspberry and Seedless preserves for the background. Copics: Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000 Boots/belt: 100, C7, C5  Suit: RV09, RV06, RV4, RV02 Hair: I tried putting down both sides of the stencil here, using black f...

A super-baby baby card...

Billede
Some people have all the luck and get pregnant really easy. Others battle unwanted childlessness for years due to disease, miscarriages or, in my case, for unknown reasons. Today's card is custom made for a couple that's gone through a rough spot. I was given 2 criteria - some kind of superhero and for a boy. I used Sunny Studios Super duper. I stamped one of the guys, colored him with Copics and fuzzy cut the image. I first ink blended the background using Tumbled glass, Salty ocean, Blueprint sketch and Chipped sapphire Distress oxide ink. I then sponged white pigment ink (I use Hero arts Unicorn white) through the bottom of Newton's Nook Tumbling hearts stencil. So love will always catch the little boy if he falls. I then heat embossed a setiment using WOW! Midnight dream embossing powder. I also heat embossed a My favorite things sentiment at the top of the card using WOW! Opaque bright white. I then used some Tim Holtz opaque texture paste through a co...

CAS snowmen

Billede
Hello everyone! There's something about Christmas cards. Maybe it's that we, for the most part, only make them for a short time of the year. I love the cozy feel i get when making them. Here I've made another set of CAS cards, this time using Sunny Studios Feeling frosty. Again I've used the MFT Circle extraordinaire stencil for the focus. For the snowhill I used Simon says stamp Waves and hills stencil. I ink blended Tumbled glass, Salty ocean and Faded jeans Distress inks. I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics and fuzzy cut them. Copics used:  R39, R29, R35  YG17, YG03, YG01  C1, 100, C5, YR09, YR04, YR21 B00, B0000 I couldn't help myself and had to make a rainbow out of this little guy. Sentiment is from Hello Bluebird Rainbow script. I love that with the change of a sentiment the snowmen can be used for basically any occasion in the winter time, not just Christmas. Copics used: RV29, RV23 YR09, YR04 Y08, Y02 ...

Snowmen rainbow

Billede
Hello everyone! I've been on the lookout for a cute set of snowmen, and I couldn't help myself with these cuties from Sunny Studios Feeling frosty! I stamped the snowmen and I just had to color them in the colors of a rainbow. I also stamped a couple of trees from the set. After coloring I fuzzycut the images. I masked off the background and ink blended Tumbled glass, Salty ocean and Faded jeans distress ink for a winter sky. After making sure the inked background was dry, I placed a couple of the snowflake stamps on an acrylic block and stamped with embossing ink. I love that the snowflakes are so small, so you can easily get a good snow-flurry on your background. I covered the sticky ink with WOW! opaque bright white embossing powder and heat set it. I stamped the sentiment, glued down the trees and popped up all the cute snowmen. Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting! The card is entered into: a place to start - Christmas through the purple haz...
