Handmade Paper Hugs

  Hey everyone! Once again I searched through my stash of already colored images for cards for the Danish Operation write home. I found 3 different images - all colored in 3 copies and cut with circle dies. So I found a sketch (an older MFT sketch from their  archive ) to fit them all. I cut all the pieces and stamped all the sentiments at once which helped ease the process. These feature a Kenny K digital image. Kenny K stamps sadly closed some years ago now.   Hello everyone! I'm sharing a custom made card for a young man celebrating his 18th birthday. Key words: hot babe. In Denmark we are generally more tolerant with this kind of thing. It's often joked with and not looked down upon. I figured he'd probably be into card as well, so I stamped and black heat embossed the cars from Honey Bee stamps Car show onto watercolor paper. Then I used a clear embossing paste through a new Gummiapan stencil No.3. I really like that one. Next I applied Tumbled glass and Faded jeans Distress ink re-inker directly to the top of the paper and sprayed liberally with my Distress water spray. I dried it in between layers and repeated the process with the bottom of the card. I also sprayed with Speckled egg and Spiced marmelade Oxide sprays. The hot babe is a Kenny K digital stamp. Hi there! Sooo, I can't go through a month of The daily marker colloring challenge without a single Kenny K stamps image!  For the background I first cut some patterned paper to size. I then die cut the My favorite things Four way chevron die from black cardstock and placed on top. Meet Megan Foxy. It's one of many digital Kenny K stamps I'm lucky to own. I printed it on Neenah and colored it with my copics. I then fuzzycut it out. With the "BOY" die from MFT Birthday boy girl die, I cut the letters 4 times from black cardstock and layered them. I covered the top layer in WOW! Silent night. It's not black, not silver, but a beautiful mix. I also embossed the word Birthday from Lawn Fawn Happyhappyhappy using WOW! Opaque bright white embossing powder on black cardstock.  I placed the BOY letters on the panel and adhered the Birthday on top.
