50th birthday card for a hunter

Billede
Custom made card for a hunter with 2 labs, who dreams of hunting deer. I know this may be weird to some, and honestly I don't like the concept of hunting. At all! But on the other hand, I do love a slow cooked deer shank. So, I went with it, and it turned out really great.  I don't use green much, and definitely not as a main color, but it really works for this. They are Twisted citron and Evergreen bough Distress oxide inks, and the edges blended with a bit of vintage photo. Dogs from Leane Creatief (Copic colored)  Riffle is a silhouette photo from google Deer from Impression Obsession - ink blended, Antique linnen, Vintage photo, Ground espresso oxides Trees from Joy! Crafts - ink blended, Antique linnen, Vintage photo oxides Numbers from Mama Elephant - heat embossed with WOW! Perissa Bullseye handmade from a Poppystamps circle frame and 2 strips of cardstock

70th birthday

Billede
Hey everyone! Today I'm sharing a custom made birthday card for a friend of the family. Meaning my Mom asked me to make it for someone I've known most of my life. So I wanted it to be special. The recipient is a joker, it's always fun to be around her. My Mom asked me to include that  - she plays golf  - has a wiener (dachshund)  - has worked for SAS (the airline) for a lifetime and  - "plumeria, the flag of Thailand or something else Thai" since she's married to a Thai (a prince none th eless) and travels there a lot. Oh, and by the way, if you think the tag looks familiar that's because the tag was in my post for AAA Birthday card for september, which is still running, so check that out HERE . So these happy ladies are from the Art Impressions Girlfriends series, the Laughing set. I love them! And it was absolutely perfect for this card! I totally picture my Mom and her friend like this rolling over with laughter. I can almost hear them, lol! The wiene...

AAA Birthday game #7

Billede
Hello everyone! Today we are starting a new challenge over at  AAA Birthday blog  and the theme is Include a number. So a couple of weeks ago a long-time friend of the family celebrated her 70th birthday. She enjoys the sweet retired life with golf and wine. These are her colors, but I suppose this may as well have been for a guy. I die cut the Leane Creatief Golf bag and clubs and colored them with Copics. The Dixi Craft Tillykke (congrats) word die was also Copic colored. I stamped the Threescoops wine bottle and 2 glasses from the God Årgang set and also a flower from the My favorite things Fancy Flowers set. After coloring them i fuzzy cut the wine images and die cut the flower. I used The Cat's Pajamas Your number is up and heat embossed with WOW! Midnight Dream - one of my favorites - and fuzzy cut those out as well. I then die cut the big scalloped circle from MFT First place ribbon and ink blended with Tumbled glass and Broken china Oxide inks. On a Simp...

Coffee always helps

Billede
Hello everyone, My first batch of the new Stamping Bella stamps took a while to arrive and I've been too busy to color them, but I finally found some time. This Curvy girl Loves coffee was first on my to-do list. I stamped on Neenah cardstock and colored with Copics, then fuzzycut the image. I added white gelly roll pen details, Spectrum noir clear sparkle and I also gave her a mouth. I'm not entirely sure I like it, but where else is she going to pour that coffee 😁 Copics used: Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000, R32, RV25  Hair: E25, E23, E21 Outfit: BG49, BG45, BG01, RV14, RV13, RV21 Clock: C5, C3, C1, RV29, RV25, RV23 Mug: E47, E44, E43, E42, C3 For the background I started by ink smooshing Worn lipstick and Vintage photo Distress inks.
