  Hi guys! Today I have 2 cute Christmas cards for you. It's an idea that I've had for a looong time, but only now carried out. And I'm happy with how they turned out. Hope you like them! I popped up the fireplace and added the santa on the back of it. I added a red bow at the top because it seemed a bit too simple. See, I was looking for a stamp with coneflowers and I couldn't really find any (that I liked at least). So I asked Alex if she would consider making a stamp. This is it! Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing this custom made birth board. It's a danish tradition that we call "dåbstavle" or birth board - at least I haven't heard of anywhere else doing this 😅  It features the name of the new baby as well as birth data - date and time, hospital where birth took place, weight and lenght at birth. This piece is letter sized - 21x30cm or close to 8.5x11 inches. Although very large there isn't really a new or difficult technique to this, I just thought this large project deserved a little extra attention. So obviously some of this was done on my computer - the name (no fill) and all the data. Then I stamped the Sunny Studios Super Duper super heroes and added a few lightnings and puffs. Since this is for a boy I masked off the pony tail and hair bun on the girl images. Some of the speech bobbles were stamped, some were outlined from a Clearly Besotted stencil and a few were hand drawn.  Once everything was colored I masked off everything...

Hello Everyone! So most of the Christmas festivities are over, but not quite, so I'm sharing the last batch of Christmas cards for this year. They are also for operation write home. I've created a big pile of Christmas cards for our troops and I hope they've put smiles on familiar faces. I kept them pretty simple using all the different santas from the Clearly Besotted Santa baby for the background. I placed them in my Misti and stamped one half of the cardbase and stamped all the backgrounds. Then moved the stamps and stamped the other half. And then I created a focus area for the one santa that I colored. I used Altenew Ruby red ink. I stamped all the santas in one go, and honestly it didn't take too long to color them since I could color all the red for instance in one go. I then fuzzy cut the images. Hello everyone! I pulled out these cute Clearly Besotted santas again. I wanted to create a story. I stamped some images, colored with Copics and fuzzycut them all out. I used the My favorite things basic shapes, circles stencil to create 3 areas of focus. I ink blended Abandoned coral and Barn door oxide inks. I stamped a couple of sentiments and added WOW! I colored this with Copics - no surprise there. But I decided to keep it pink-themed. After coloring the image I fuzzy cut around the colored edge.
