Welcome baby

Billede
Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a card to welcome my new niece. I actually bought the Stamping Bella Big sister when it was quite new (summer 2019) and back then I didn't know if my sister would ever have more kids. You see, like me, she had help conceiving with her first born. Luckily they didn't need help this time around and now she's finally here 😍 I Copic colored the image and die cut using My favorite things Linked chain oval which I just love. Copics used: E13, E11, E21, E00 + RV13 / E04, E11, E21, E00 YR21, E97, E99, E35 R85, R83, R81 RV66, RV55, RV52 W5, W3, W1 G94, G24, G40 I used Memory Box patterned paper for the background and small Crealies tag and Memory Box glitter paper for the My favorite things Hearts entwined and sentiment shadow. The sentiment says congrats and the die is from Dixi Craft. The stamped sentiment is from By Lene. I rolled the (MFT) flowers myself and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.   I hope you like my card. Thanks ...

Invitations for a christening and 30th birthday

Billede
Hello everyone! This without a doubt is my biggest project to date. And I'm so happy (and proud) of how it turned out. See this young woman on the right, a family friend (picture published with permission) asked if I could create 30 invitations for the christening of her daughter. No problem, right! She really liked a bokeh background I did a while back - man, did they take a long time to create. My arm was falling off by the 30th 😆 I had the layout all figured out. Background and label cut with Simple and Basic dies, cutie batootie MFT elephants colored, MFT Baby rattle and Altenew In-line alpha's cut. This year however, we've all been affected by a certain virus. So they've had to delay the christening. And now it was conveniently close to her 30th birthday, so she'd really like for me to add that. What a challenge it was to get this just right. I wanted her to love it, but perhaps more importantly I wanted me to love it. To be proud of it. So I came up with this...

Guest designer for A place to start

Billede
Hello everyone! The lovely Chana from  A place to start challenge blog  kindly asked me to guest design for them, and I'm honored and delighted to do so! The October challenge is such a fun one! Now there's a challenge that's bound to unleash your creative spark! A few weeks ago we went to the christening of our friends baby girl. I had most of the card planned in my head, and it was perfect for this challenge! So many cute images to choose from, but I went with the Whimsy stamps digital image "Baby Ellie".  So adorable holding the trunk of Mama elephant. I printed it on Neenah cardstock, colored it with Copics and die cut it with a My favorite things Dotted circle stax die. Copics used: Ellie: W5, W3, W1, W0, RV21, RV00 Bow: RV25, RV21, RV00 - After it dried I added BV000 Other: RV21, RV00, C1 For the card itself I used the Dutch Doobadoo Card art Baby onesie. It's not a die, but a stencil. It lets you line out both the onesie base (a tri-fol...

Baby Card

Billede
Hi there, today I've got a cute baby card for you. I thought it would be fun to add felt to this card, so the My favorite things  baby rattle was cut out in baby blue felt. For extra dimension I also  cut out 3 rattles in baby blue cardstock. I used a MFT shaker pouch and stamped the sentiment with Stazon midnight blue ink.  The sentiment is in Danish and simply means Welcome to the world. I filled the rattle shaker with iridiscent blue hearts. I stamped 2 images from the MFT Magical dragons set  and  colored  them with my copics before fuzzy cutting them. For the background I cut out a piece of white cardstock with the second largest MFT elegant rectangle die. I created a cloudy scene with Tumbled glass oxide ink and the Simon Says Stamp Clouds for days stencil. Then I dry embossed the panel with the Newton's Nook Tumbling hearts stencil. Copics used: Baby dragon: B0000, B00, BG01, B02, B93, B97 Mama dragon:...
