Carving pumpkins

Billede
Hey everyone! It's almost Halloween and I feel like I didn't do enough Halloween cards. But time got away from me, I guess. Anyway, do you like carving pumpkins? Halloween is kind of a newer thing here in Denmark and I never felt the need to be a part of it. But when my daughter was 2 we started carving pumpkins and it's been a tradition since. And I absolutely love it! For this card a used a new Krista Leigh Smith digital stamp and I think it's so cute! I used Dried marigold, Spiced marmalade and Crackling campfire Oxide inks, smooshed them on the card panel and then added a sentiment and small pumpkins from Poppystamps using Altenew inks. Copics used  Pumpkin: E99, YR09, YR04, YR21 Leaves: G94, G43 Stool: W7, W5, W3 Knife: C9, C7, C5, C3 Red: R89, R39, R37, R35 Mustard: YR27, YR24, Y26 Skirt: E79, E77, E74, 71 Skin: E13, E11, E21, E00 + R32 Hair: E37, E34, E31 Grounding: E33, E31, E30 I really love that deep red-mustard combo, Hope you like it, too?! Fall fairy

Billede
Hey everyone! Hope you're all well. Today I'm shaing a cute Krista Leigh SMith fairy, that I colored in fall colors. I kept it really simple and added a bit of "pixie dust" by dotting my markers. I cut it with a Simple and Basic frame and popped it up on a piece of patterned paper. I think it's from an old Reverse Confetti pad. Sentiment is from My Favorite Things. E04, E11, E21, E00, E000 G99, G94, G24, G43, G40 W7, W5, W3, W1 R89, R85, R83, R81 RV95, RV93, RV91 Thanks so much for stopping by. Tina

Alex Syberia Designs Kickstarter Campaign | Instagram Hop 1 & Giveaway

Billede
Hello everyone! We are continuing the Alex Syberia Designs Kickstarter Campaign and today we're doing it on Instagram, so once you've made your way through my inspiration be sure to hop on over to my IG and follow the hop there to participate! Today I'm again featuring the cute penguins from "Smile and Wave", cute critters from "Birthday Wonderland" and an adorable kitty from "Sparkle & Dance". As soon as I saw this set I knew I wanted to make a galaxy background. To create the galaxy background I first blended a "rainbow" with Distress inks. I then darkened the edges and splattered white acrylic paint diluted with water over it. How adorable is this penguin?! I really love how this turned out. I chose to create a one-layer scene for a couple of the Birthday Wonderland critters, just a bit of masking and then I Copic colored the whole scene with snow covered mountains, foot prints and fallen leaves. Copics used: Hedgehog: E37, ...

AAA Birthday challlenge game #30 - A Slimline Card

Billede
Hello everyone! Today we're kicking off our October challenge at AAA Birthday challenge blog and this months theme is - Slimline card. We're even so lucky to have Alex Syberia Design as our sponsor this month, and YOU could win a $10 gift card to store. So hop on over and join the fun! Alex also generously offered each of the DT members a stamp, but since I'm a proud DT member of Alex's I had a few to choose from 😍 I chose to use Autumn Bouquet as there's no denying it's now officially fall and because it's one of my favorite stamps from Alex. As always I colored with my Copic markers. I ink blended the background over Pinkfresh Studio Diamond plaid stencil using Spiced marmelade, Candied apple and Ground espresso. I actually have the regular stencil (not the slimline) so I had to move the stencil, but it worked out just fine. I popped up the fuzzy cut pumpkin image for a bit of dimension and added the My favorite things Birthday wishes sentiment die cut...

AAA Birthday card challenge #18 Photo inspiration

Billede
Hello everyone! Today we are kicking off the AAA Birthday October challenge with a photo inspiration, and just look at those gorgeous fall colors. I'm sure you can find inspiration there. For this card I used the Concord & 9th Birthday basics turnabout stamp. I used 4 inks - green, yellow, orange and pink on a large panel so I can use the rest for a second card, but here I cut a panel with the second largest die from Simple and Basic pierced rectangles. I also cut a panel with the largest die from that set and colored the edges by swiping the same pink ink. I meassured out where I wanted my critter to place the YAY! and happy birthday stamps. After stamping that I used the brand new medium size "Organic shaped holes" die to cut through all 3 layers to create a window to the inside of the card. I made sure to put the cute hedgie in the correct position to create a tiny scene on the inside of the card. The images are from My favorite things Happy hedgehogs and colore...
