Handmade Paper Hugs

Hey Rammy's! Today I'm sharing this adorable "Storytime" forest scene of Mr. Fox reading a bedtime story for forest friends. How adorable is this scene? I absolutely love it! I die cut the colored scene using a Mod Square die from My favorite things and adhered it on top of a square piece of patterned paper from Maker Forte/Alex Syberia.  I popped this up over a panel that I'd embossed using Tim Holtz Lumber embossing folder and then run over with a brown ink to accent the texture.  As a final touch I added a few gems and a sentiment from Hero Arts. Hey everyone! Here's a cute Christmas card using a new Krista Leigh Smith stamp. This blue/red combo is really growing on me and I wanted to use mainly those colors. What do you think of this combo? I added some texture using a sweater embossing folder from By Lene and backed the image with a tree cut with a Marianne Design die from patterned paper (My favorite things). I really love how this turned out. Hello everyone! Can you believe it's July already? Well today we're kicking off the July challenge over at AAA Birthday Challenge blog and the theme this month is Use an embossing folder. For this card I was greatly inspired by a video I watched recently from Jaycee Gaspar - find it here . I was just playing around with different embossing folders and trying different things and although this is very dark and much different to my usual style I totally love the look! I used Memory Box Chrysanthemum Field 3D embossing folder. Obviously I used a black ink (Versafine Onyx Black) and applied all over the embossing folder which really made the flowers stand out. Using the technique from the video I tore the sides of the paper and decided to back it with a couple of layers of gold embossing powder (Hero Arts) and plattered on some diluted gold acrylic paint.
