OSH Christmas cards - Operation skriv hjem

Billede
Hello Everyone! So most of the Christmas festivities are over, but not quite, so I'm sharing the last batch of Christmas cards for this year. They are also for operation write home. I've created a big pile of Christmas cards for our troops and I hope they've put smiles on familiar faces. I kept them pretty simple using all the different santas from the Clearly Besotted Santa baby for the background. I placed them in my Misti and stamped one half of the cardbase and stamped all the backgrounds. Then moved the stamps and stamped the other half. And then I created a focus area for the one santa that I colored. I used Altenew Ruby red ink. I stamped all the santas in one go, and honestly it didn't take too long to color them since I could color all the red for instance in one go. I then fuzzy cut the images. The Danish sentiments are from Hobbyboden and means Christmas greetings and Christmas mail from me to you. Copics used: Suits: R39, R29, R35, 100, C7,

Hello everyone! Inbetween all the Christmas coloring and cards, I had to color one of my newly bought Make it Crafty digital stamps. I wish I could have bought all the stamps, but there were soooo many. However, I'm covered for a while, lol. I printe the Fairy-star on Neenah, colored with Copics and fuzzy cut it out. Copics used: Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000 + RV23 Hair: E23, E27, E59 Wings / eyes: BV04, BV13, BV02, BV01, BV00 Dress / bows: RV66, RV55, RV52 + C1 Star: C3, C00 The background I inked up with Seedless preserves and Milled lavendar oxide inks through the Simon says stamp Star medallion stencil. I cut the Dixi Craft Tillykke (congrats) die and covered it in WOW! Midas Touch embossing powder. I wiped the edge of the star with embossing ink and covered that too. I then planned out where I would place the fairy and with my Tim Holtz water spritzer I spritzed water on the panel, quickly covered with Midas touch powder and heat set it. I placed the fa

CAS snowmen

Hello everyone! There's something about Christmas cards. Maybe it's that we, for the most part, only make them for a short time of the year. I love the cozy feel i get when making them. Here I've made another set of CAS cards, this time using Sunny Studios Feeling frosty. Again I've used the MFT Circle extraordinaire stencil for the focus. For the snowhill I used Simon says stamp Waves and hills stencil. I ink blended Tumbled glass, Salty ocean and Faded jeans Distress inks. I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics and fuzzy cut them. Copics used:  R39, R29, R35  YG17, YG03, YG01  C1, 100, C5, YR09, YR04, YR21 B00, B0000 I couldn't help myself and had to make a rainbow out of this little guy. Sentiment is from Hello Bluebird Rainbow script. I love that with the change of a sentiment the snowmen can be used for basically any occasion in the winter time, not just Christmas. Copics used: RV29, RV23 YR09, YR04 Y08, Y02

Merry moments

Hello everyone! Have you gotten all of your Christmas cards in the mail? I was a little this year, yikes! Crossing my fingers they all reach their destination before Christmas. In the meantime I'm sharing more Christmas cards. I have been buying, coloring, buying, coloring and ended up getting all the cards done late, BUT here's a bunch using My favorite things Merry Moments. How cute is that dancing polar bear? All the cards have been made the same way, creating a focus using MFT Circle extraordinaire stencil. I believe it's been retired, yet I just got mine and I LOVE it! Fot these adorably cute friends I dotted in a few stars and snow with my white gelly roll pen on the blue violet sky (Shaded lilac, Wilted violet, Blueprint sketch oxides). Copics used: Suit: R39, R29, R35 Whites: C3, C00 Hair: W3 Snow: BV00, colorless blender Here I've used Tattered rose, Abandoned coral and barn door oxides. Copics used: G17, G14, G40 R35, R24, R22

Snowmen rainbow

Hello everyone! I've been on the lookout for a cute set of snowmen, and I couldn't help myself with these cuties from Sunny Studios Feeling frosty! I stamped the snowmen and I just had to color them in the colors of a rainbow. I also stamped a couple of trees from the set. After coloring I fuzzycut the images. I masked off the background and ink blended Tumbled glass, Salty ocean and Faded jeans distress ink for a winter sky. After making sure the inked background was dry, I placed a couple of the snowflake stamps on an acrylic block and stamped with embossing ink. I love that the snowflakes are so small, so you can easily get a good snow-flurry on your background. I covered the sticky ink with WOW! opaque bright white embossing powder and heat set it. I stamped the sentiment, glued down the trees and popped up all the cute snowmen. Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting! Hello everyone! I'm sharing more opration write home card. The My favorite things Secret Santa set invites to build a scene. But I didnt want to color 4 trees AND all the presents, cookies etc AND the children. So I came up with this idea of stamping the scene in a coorsination color, but otherwise leave it uncolored, and then just add a couple of colored elements. And I honestly really like these! As always I colored with Copics and fuzzycut the images. Sentiments still from Hobbyboden means Christmas mail from me to you. Why didn't santa eat his cookies? Love the burlap sack, by the way. So many childhood memories.... Copics used: R39, R29, R35, C3, C1, C00, Y17, Y08, Y02, G17, G05, YG06, E31, E34, E37, E04, E11, E00, E44, E43, E41, B29, B24, B23, B21, B00, B0000. Ink - Altetew Dusk.
