Hey everyone! Today is my husband's 50th birthday and I made him this special sidestep card. It holds not everything but a lot of what he is and loves. I actually had to leave things out because it wouldn't fit.  He works as a technician, always has, and he has a special thing for... Screw drivers. Apparently.  It's a standing joke that he doesn't have any and should put it on his wishlist. When in reality he has soooooo many 🙈 So as a joke I "hid" a bunch in the card. My daughter couldn't find all of them. Can you?   Hi guys! Today I have 2 cute Christmas cards for you. It's an idea that I've had for a looong time, but only now carried out. And I'm happy with how they turned out. Hope you like them! I popped up the fireplace and added the santa on the back of it. I added a red bow at the top because it seemed a bit too simple. Hi everyone! Tina here sharing a cute and simple Christmas card using adorable critters from  the Smile and wave and the Birthday Wonderland sets. I stamped and colored the critters with my Copics and then cut them out. I masked off the bottom of my card panel and then ink blended lightly with Abandoned coral Distress Oxide ink. I then stamped the trees and a sentiment with a matching ink for a soft look. I popped up those cute critters for dimension. I just love how the sentiment fits their expressions.   Hello everyone! We are continuing the Alex Syberia Designs Kickstarter Campaign and today we're doing it on Instagram, so once you've made your way through my inspiration be sure to hop on over to my IG and follow the hop there to participate! Today I'm again featuring the cute penguins from "Smile and Wave", cute critters from "Birthday Wonderland" and an adorable kitty from "Sparkle & Dance". As soon as I saw this set I knew I wanted to make a galaxy background. To create the galaxy background I first blended a "rainbow" with Distress inks. I then darkened the edges and splattered white acrylic paint diluted with water over it. How adorable is this penguin?! I really love how this turned out. I chose to create a one-layer scene for a couple of the Birthday Wonderland critters, just a bit of masking and then I Copic colored the whole scene with snow covered mountains, foot prints and fallen leaves.   Hello everyone! Today we are starting a new game over at AAA Birthday challenge blog and the theme for this month is Animals & Critters - right up my alley, right 😉 I decided to use some - new to me - My Favorite Things stamps. No surprise there.  I stamped and Copic colored these images from the MFT Birthday Buds set. I chose to keep it mostly in blues, just for a change. Copics used: E77, E74, E71, E44, E43, E42, E40 YR16 Y38, Y21, Y13, Y00 YG13, YG11 B29, B05, B02, B00 BG57, BG53, BG49, BG15, BG23, BG11 Then I did some emboss resist first white heat embossing the MFT All lined-up background stamp and then ink blending with Cracked pistacio, Mermaid lagoon and Blueprint sketch Oxide inks. I cut the background with a Simple and Basic rectangle die and popped up the critters and cake for dimension before adhering them to the card.  Look how the birdies are completely oblivious that the wind is dragging the balloon - and sheep - in their direction. To me butterflies symbolise change and growth. And although it's a diferent change this time, I funnily enough used the Beautiful butterflies Sidekick frame for my first card for Poppystamps as well. Hello everyone! This without a doubt is my biggest project to date. And I'm so happy (and proud) of how it turned out. See this young woman on the right, a family friend (picture published with permission) asked if I could create 30 invitations for the christening of her daughter. No problem, right! She really liked a bokeh background I did a while back - man, did they take a long time to create. My arm was falling off by the 30th 😆 I had the layout all figured out. Background and label cut with Simple and Basic dies, cutie batootie MFT elephants colored, MFT Baby rattle and Altenew In-line alpha's cut. This year however, we've all been affected by a certain virus. So they've had to delay the christening. And now it was conveniently close to her 30th birthday, so she'd really like for me to add that. What a challenge it was to get this just right. I wanted her to love it, but perhaps more importantly I wanted me to love it. To be proud of it. So I came up with this...

Hello everyone! Today I'm so excited to be guesting on the Danish OSH blog -  Operation write home . It's a privately run blog that collects cards for all occasions and sends them to our troops deployed all over the world. I first donated cards a couple of years ago and I really like the idea of the cards bringing joy to both troops and their loved ones. In unintended pun My favorite things really are my favorite crafty things and so I've used lots of MFT on these cards. I already had quite a few images ready and colored. For this CAS card I masked up the bottom and blend on a bit of Salty ocean oxide ink, then used Blueprint sketch oxide ink to stamp a few trees from Friends in the forest as well as a sentiment from Beast friends. Now all I needed was a yeti and gift also from Beast friends. Last year while making cards for OSH I came up with this idea of creating a scene yet only coloring some of the images. It saved me a lot of time and allowed for more cards...
