Fun with Alex Syberia digital stamps

Billede
Hi everyone! It's been a while. Life happened. Let's just leave it at that. Things are not great, but I'm trying to get back to posting regularly. If you're not following me on Instagram, this might the time to do so, since I won't be posting all my projects here. You can find my IG here . Anyway, while I was temporarily doing inner maintenance, you may have unsuccesfully tried to purchase digital stamps at the Alex Syberia shop on Etsy. That is because she moved her shop to a new website - you can check that out here . For the first card I used Be Girly digital stamp . I just lov this one! As always I colored with my Copic markers, and I was going for a really glossy look. Markers used: RV69, RV66, RV55, RV52 E35, E34, E33, E31, E30 I printed the image twice and cut the 2 bows out of one of them. I colored them with the lightest pink marker and then added a mix of a pink translucent embossing powder (from Michael's) and a WOW embossing sparkles. I only glued ...

AAA Birthday challenge #35 - Under the sea

Billede
Hello everyone! Today marks the beginning of the March challenge over at AAA Birthday challenge blog , and the theme this month is Under the sea. So get out your favorite sea critters - otters, turtles, whales etc. - or how about mystical creatures like mermaids. Sadly this month's challenge also marks my last project for the AAA DT, as I need to focus on me for a while. Although not in relevance to this challenge at all, I ask that you keep the people of Ukraine in your thoughts 🙏 Please consider donating This gorgeous image is a Make it Crafty digital stamp colored with Copics. I don't remember the colors used, but I'm guessing : Hair: R85, R83, RV11, RV10 Tail: B99, B97, BG49, BG13, BG15, BG01, YG0000 The background panel is an old alcohol ink panel i had laying around.  For sentiment I chose 2 Sentiments from Taylored Expressions Be a mermaid. I didn't have a "Have a mermazing birthday", so these will have to do. Oh, and by the way, they were white heat e...

3 images, 1 sketch - part 1

Billede
Hey everyone! Once again I searched through my stash of already colored images for cards for the Danish Operation write home. I found 3 different images - all colored in 3 copies and cut with circle dies. So I found a sketch (an older MFT sketch from their  archive ) to fit them all. I cut all the pieces and stamped all the sentiments at once which helped ease the process. These feature a Kenny K digital image. Kenny K stamps sadly closed some years ago now. Other products used: Gitte's eget design Mix & Match - Du (sentiment means "You are so sweet") Nellie Snellen nesting circle dies Unbranded patterned paper Ranger Dylusions spray  Thanks for stopping by! Stay safe, and happy crafting! Tina The cards are entered into: http://craftycalendarchallenge.blogspot.com/ https://www.welovechocolatebaroque.uk/ - handcolored image https://polkadoodle.blogspot.com/ https://pinkgemchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ https://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/ https://colourcrazychallenge....

Koi fish

Billede
***reklame/add*** Hello everyone! I'm up on Alex Syberia Design blog today. I honestly couldn't tell you why but I have this thing for koi fish. I think they're so beautiful. So when I saw this Underwater World card panel with cute fish and zentangle pattern I knew I had to color it up! Admitted, I did strugle a bit with coordinating the colors but I like how it turned out. Copics used: Koi: R29, R27, R24, YR68, YR04 + R01, E000 + W5, W1, W0 Pink: RV09, RV66, RV06, RV04 + Y06 White flower: YR82, YR000 Large shell: V17, RV95, RV93, RV91 small shells: R32, R11 Zentangle: V09, RV09, YR04, W3 Ocean: W9, B69, B26,  B24, BG53, BG10 I'm not one for swatching, but my embossing powders are the exception. That came in handy for this card since I wanted to add a bit of glitter. Who knew there's quite a lot of difference to holographic powders. For the purple zentangle bows I used WOW Clear Hologram sparkle which has a blueish shine and for the koi fish I used Ranger Hologr...

AAA Birthday challenge - game #21 A stencil background

Billede
Hello everyone! And happy new year to all! Fingers crossed for a better 2021, right?  Today we're kicking off the first challenge of 2021 over at AAA Birthday challenge blog , and the theme is - A stencil background. I don't think I have to tell you that I love stencils. In fact, it's probably my most favorite technique of all! There are som many different types of stencils. Different patterns, layering, masking, etc. They're low priced and so versatile! What's not to love?! Since it's January I wanted to create a winter scene for my birthday card. And these My favorite things Snow buddies are just perfect for that. For my background I used 3 different stencils. First I masked off the bottom with the Simon says stamp Waves and hills stencil (I cut mine apart for better usage). Then I blended the top of the background with Picked raspberry, Blueprint sketch and Black soot oxide inks. I'll be honest, this isn't my best blending but I wanted to avoid gett...

AAA Birthday challenge Game #16 - Tic Tac Toe

Billede
Hello everyone! Today we're kicking off the August challenge over at AAA Birthday challenge blog and the theme is Tic Tac Toe. As you can probably tell I went with rainbow, window, patterned paper. I used Lawn Fawn paper and cut out using My favorite things Birthday Boy & Girl die. For the glittery background behind the window I used a left over piece of black cardstock that I smeared a layer of Ranger glossy embossing paste over and then sprinkled over with WOW! Sparkles in Your carriage awaits. I adhered this to the base and popped up the patterned paper for dimension. The images are from My favorite things Unicorns & glitter. I colored with Copics and stuck to primaries red, yellow and blue. I stamped a sentiment as well as a few stars. I popped up the images for dimension and it's all done for my daughter's birthday in a couple of weeks. She loves everything rainbow and unicorn. Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to hop on over the AAA Birthday blog ...

Lots of rainbows

Billede
So I colored a few Concord 9th rainbow unicorns during the daily marker 30 day challenge, and now I've put them on cards. For the first one I used a dark grey cardstock for base. I stamped the sentiment with WOW! embossing ink and covered with gold embossing powder.  I then used the small star stamp and stamped with embossing ink along the bottom as sort of a trail of gold glitter from the unicorn. I covered with Fairy tale embossing powder. Once the unicorn was adhered I wanted a little more sparkle. Out of fear of covering too much color I carefully added a light layer of stickles to the tail and mane. For the second card I used black cardstock for base. I first white heat embossed the sentiment, then used WOW! Mint macaroon on top. I had to layer them because the mint powder is translucent. I layed over the Newton's Nook Confetti stencil and spread a layer of Nuvo Glacier paste Sea sprite. Looks gorgeous on black! This unicorn is wearing a party hat, ...

Farm animal fun

Billede
Hi everyone! Well, maybe it's this stay-home situation that got to my head, but I needed a little fun. So today I played with Simon says stamp Birthday farm animals. And if you're anything like me, you buy lots of patterned paper that you hold on to for that one special project, but never use. Today I rectified that. For a little extra fun the balloon was given a layer of stickles AND Nuvo glaze on top. Copics for piggy: E07, E04, E11, R11, E000 Paper from Lawn Fawn and Reverse Confetti and My favorite things Cross stitch square dies. Paper from Lawn Fawn cut with MFT Stitched star dies and I added more O's to the Moo sentiment. A cow goes Moooo... Right? More stickles and Nuvo glaze to the stars. Although stickles don't usually shed I covered with Nuvo glaze because I'm donating these to the Danish operation write home. And there must not be any loose glitter. It can kill. For this I used Avery Elle bookmark to cut paper from Memory Box and Do...
