Alex Syberia Design Plumeria

Billede
***Reklame / add*** Hello everyone! Today I'm up on Alex Syberia Designs blog with a bright Plumeria card. The digital Plumeria stamp was released last summer and you can find it  here . Plumerias - or Frangipani - are not only my favorite flowers in the whole world. They're so special to me because I have such fond memories where they play a big role. For example, on a trip to Thailand I would put a flower behind my ear every night when we went out for dinner. And the scent would completely intoxicate me - in a good way of course - the whole evening. That's how scented they are. And it's the most beautiful scent you can imagine. Well, in my opinion anyway. Now, there are other Plumeria stamps available out there, but what I absolutely love about Alex's stamp - other than the obvious realistic abundance of flowers - is that the leaves are proportionally accurate. Unfortunately the cooler climate here in Denmark is no match for Plumerias. I've tried planting s

Mother's day card

Hello everyone! Just poppin in real quick with this Mother's day card I made for Waffle Flower stitched card challenge #wfc2104w3 I die cut the medium sized die from WF Stitchable hearts 5 times across the panel. I then used 3 different colors of pink to stich only one heart per line.  I popped up the panel with foam squares. Then I cut the Oversized Love you from pink Memory Box glitter cardstock and popped that up also. I used Marianne Designs Eline's lettering alpha's for the tiny "mom" label. Thanks for stopping by! Stay safe and happy crafting! Spring fairy

Billede
Hello everyone! Today marks the beginning of a new The daily marker coloring challenge, although only for 10 days.  I really love the look of elongated images on slimline cards. So for today I colored this very happy digital Krista Smith fairy. Look how excited she is about happy mail 😉 As always I colored with my Copic markers and then added patterned paper behind her. The paper even has glitter on it 😍 I've added Memory Box Fairy sugar to her wings. You gotta have glitter! Copics used: Skin: E47, E27, E25, E23 + RV25 Hair: 100, E49, E57, E23 Eyes: E47, E37, E34 Pink: R89, R85, R83, R81 Yellow: Y38, Y17, Y13, Y11 Green: G99, G94, G24, G43, G40, BG11 White: W3, W1, W0 I stamped a sentiment from Mama Elephant Scripty Bday and popped up the fairy for dimension. I hope you're inspired to color! Thanks for stopping by! Stay safe, and happy crafting! Use those tiny stamps

Billede
This weeks challenge at Waffle Flower challenges us to use tiny stamps. Good thing I finally found my Tumble On set. You see, I bought the set back when it was released and made THIS card for my daughter quite ahead of time (which is really unlike me 😆). And since I didn't want to spoil the surprise with these new cute stamps, I hid them. It was one of those "she'll never find it there"-places. The only problem was I forgot ALL about having hid the stamps and when I needed them I couldn't remember where I'd put it. I've since searched for it now and again, always giving up. This time I was a little bit more persistent and I finally found it - YAY!! I'm sure you can understand my joy and why I wanted to color lots of tiny gymnasts. OK, now onto this card 😉 I first colored all my tiny gals and dudes, as always with my Copic markers. Copics used: E57, E35, E34 / E23, E34, E31, E30 / E11, E21, E00 100, E29, E23 / E79, E77, E74 / E44, E43, E42 / E55, E53

If flowers were friends...

Hello everyone! Just poppin' in real quick to share another slimline card. Like I said I don't care too much for slimline card designs, but I do like the look of an elongated image for it. So I'm making a few. This actually is only part of a Krista Smith digital stamp. I copic colored the whole panel and then heat embossed this older Waffle Flower Enveloper choice sentiment on a piece of vellum and wrapped it around the panel. How do you like slimline cards? Copics used: Skin: E13, E11, E21, E00 + R22, R20 Eyes: B05, B02, B00 Hair: E51, E55, E23 Shirt: G94, G24, G40 + colorless blender Top: Y38, Y17, Y13, Y11 Hat / flowers: RV14, RV13, RV11, RV10 Pants: W3, W0 + colorless blender Grass: YG17, YG13, YG03, YG01 Thanks for stopping by! Just bloom

Billede
Hello everyone! Truth be told, I'm not a huge fan of slimline cards. That being said they do allow for a larger image, especially if the image is tall like this beautyful ballerina from Mo's digital pencil. I love her! Also I just figured out I can change the black lines of an image for no-line coloring. And although this image for no-line did intimidate me, sometimes you just gotta give it a go. Right?! Copics used: E13, E11, E21, E00, E000 E71, E74, E79 W7, W5, W3, W1 R85, R83, R81, RV10 For the background I used Victorian velvet oxide ink, first blended lightly then to stamp flowers from Poppystamps Blooming greetings. The sentiment is from the same set and white heat embossed on some brown grey cardstock that I die cut using My favorite things Elegant rectangle die. Please let me know in the comments if you like doing no-line coloring? Thanks for stopping by! Stay safe, and happy crafting! AAA Birthday challenge - game #24 Shaped card

Billede
Happy Easter Monday friends! I hope your Easter offered lots of fun, family, relaxing, crafting or whatever you wished for.  Today we're kicking off the April challenge over at AAA Birthday blog and the theme this month is Shaped card. I recently (well some time last year) purchased these cute Whimsy stamps Hap-Bee birthday bees. I think they're so fun! I felt they would be the perfect feature for a hexagon-shaped card, so I stamped the bees and copic colored them. Copics used: Yellow: YR24, YR23, Y17, Y21, Y11  Black: E47, E44, E40 Wings: E55, E53, E50 Mouth: E99, E97, R85, R83 Orange: YR68, YR04, YR82 Teal: BG49, BG15, BG23 I thought it would be fun to also make it an easel card, so I used the largest die in the Waffle Flower Nesting hexagon set to cut these 2 pieces out.  To cut the one on the left I folded a piece of cardstock and placed the edge of the die juuuust outside the paper, so it would cut the whole shape and leave the fold.  Next I folded one half down the mid

More cute birthday cards for Operation write home

If you're making your way here during the weekend I wish you a Happy Easter!  So a few days ago I sat down and used most of my gel press backgrounds from a few weeks ago. I paired them with lots of images that were already colored. I guess you can say I cleaned out 😆 Here's a couple more. I continued using the Pinkfresh Folk Hummingbird flower, because leaving the background all white is just too cas for me and the stamp was already out. Then I added the diagonally cut gel press paper and stamped a sentiment. The sentiment as well as these cute critters are from My favorite things Birthday Buds. Since this little cutie party piglet doesn't have wings I turned the card base to stamp the flower at the top in stead. Again these flat enamel dots are actually Nuvo drops. As you can probably see they can get a bit rough on the edges, but I'm OK with that. For the last card I used a couple more images and opted to not stamp the flower. In stead I added a few fluffy, pink cl
