The Greeting Farm winter city scene

Billede
Hey friends, here's a cutesy couple set in a winter city scene. She looks very infatuated, doesn't she? But is it the young man, or his cute dog that has her attention? We'll never know. They are from The Greeting Farm Miss Anya Hello Winter and Warm Wishes. The city scene is Stamping Bella Sketchy Corner Backdrop. I don't typically purchase this kind of stamp but I figured it would work for all seasons, and I loves pairing it with these 2. I wasn't going for a night scene and honestly, it wasn't until I made the street lamp glow. Oh well. I guess the lamps are turned on early during winter, right? So maybe late afternoon. Anyway, here's the Copics I used E04, E11, E000, E000 W7, R59, R85 R85, R83, R81 E51, E55, E23 (hair)  E44, E43, E42, E41 W9, W7, W5, W3 E50, E51, E53 (dog)  E55, E57, E59 (hair/shoes)  E49, E47, E44 + E42 + W2 (coffee)  W3, W2, W1 + B00, B0000 (houses)  BV13, BV02, BV00, BV000 (snow)  B66, B63, B60 (sky)  YR27, YR24, YR21, Y2...

Snowflake wishes cas Christmas card

Billede
Hey everyone! Have you started on your Christmas cards? Or maybe even finished?  I've only just started mine 🙈😂 Anyway, here's an old Make it Crafty digital stamp that I printed in a softer grey tone. Not 100% noline, but noline-ish. I actually really struggled with this when I started. I don't do much noline coloring, so I really need to think hard about it. After coloring in blues and pinks I thought about starting over, but decided to trust the process. And I'm glad I did. Once I colored skin and hair I suddenly was very happy with my coloring. So, trust the process, guys! I kept it simpel with just adding a sentiment (Stamping Bella Uptown Girl Katrina's Christmas kiss) and let's not talk about it being crooked 🙈 that's the downside of rubber stamps, right?! I considered stamping again and cutting it out to cover this, but I wanted the card to be one layer, so... 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, thanks for stopping by. And stay tuned for some exiting news!  Happy Christ...

Selective spotlight technique

Billede
This cute set deserves a moment in the spotlight, don't you think?  I don't know if this technique has a name, but I'm calling it selective spotlight. Quick coloring and easy cards that packs a punch. I used a palm tree and sand dune (from Three Scoops) to create a no-coloring background and then spotlighted the cute Rosie and Bernie in Hawaii from Stamping Bella.  Sentiment from Hobbyboden.

Honoring THE Bella!

Billede
Hello everyone! Today a whole bunch of us Stamping Bella sistah's are honoring the creator and owner of Stamping Bella, Emily Block.  At first I was looking for something that would be sentimental, but I understand that Emily was a fun, vibrant person, so I changed directions. I'm sure she would have wanted us to enjoy making this card for her! Make it a celebration.  This is Girl on a Vespa, and I feel like she's big enough that a lot going on in the background would make it "messy". So after swiping an ink pad over the background a few times I drew a line, made a few doodles and stamped a couple of sentiments over it. All sentiments are from Hello Bluebird Rainbow script and they read: Oh happy day You make me smile You are my sunshine  Emily, our Forever Bella, may you rest in peace ❤   Copics used: Skin: E13, E11, E00, E000 + R32, R20 + RV17, RV10 Hair: E41, E43, E44 Hat: RV95, RV93, RV91 Dress: R89, R85, R83, R81 + W3, W0 Flowers: BV08, BV13, BV01 Vespa: BG78...

Custom made graduation card

Billede
Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a custom made card and I may have gone a little overboard with it. So grab a cuppa, 'cause this is a long post. Initially I just got "graduation, champagne and glitter". But I remember how important graduation was, and I wanted to make it more special, so I asked for more and got "Netflix, coffee, make-up, no immediate plans for education, but partying for now". The most important thing of course is the graduation hat. Here in Denmark the hats are the same but the band changes color depending on which specific type of school you graduate from. This one is like mine and of a 3-year middle school somewhere in between hichscool and college. I wanted to incorporate everything and I started with a black and white base covered in books (Mama Elephant Bookworm). Student (graduate) cut from red glitter cardstock (My favorite things Little letters) to match the band on the graduate's hat (By Lene Studenterhue). I used the same red...

This is SB Uptown Girl Zodiac Leo and the sentiment is from Newton's Nook Serene Silhouettes. Copics used: Sky: BG49, BG45, BG53, BG10, BG000...

Welcome baby

Billede
Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a card to welcome my new niece. I actually bought the Stamping Bella Big sister when it was quite new (summer 2019) and back then I didn't know if my sister would ever have more kids. You see, like me, she had help conceiving with her first born. Luckily they didn't need help this time around and now she's finally here 😍 I Copic colored the image and die cut using My favorite things Linked chain oval which I just love. Copics used: E13, E11, E21, E00 + RV13 / E04, E11, E21, E00 YR21, E97, E99, E35 R85, R83, R81 RV66, RV55, RV52 W5, W3, W1 G94, G24, G40 I used Memory Box patterned paper for the background and small Crealies tag and Memory Box glitter paper for the My favorite things Hearts entwined and sentiment shadow. The sentiment says congrats and the die is from Dixi Craft. The stamped sentiment is from By Lene. I rolled the (MFT) flowers myself and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.   I hope you like my card. Thanks ...

Romantic wedding card

Billede
Hello everyone! I'm back with a custom made romantic wedding. I don't do a lot of über romantic cards, but I went all out on glitter and girly here. I startet out by coloring Stamping Bella Brett and Brenda get married. I colored the dress with a soft pinkish glow and framed them with dots fading out to emphasize the couple yet adding a bit of pink. I added a thin edge of WOW! silver sparkle embossing glitter to the edge of the panel. The base is a soft peach cardstock. I used My Favorite Things Falling hearts stencil and added Ranger glossy paste through it. Then I poured over WOW! Peachy Keen Sparkles (a glitter). I let that dry completely and then made sure to flick off all the excess (quite a bit 🙈). I used the same stencil on the envelope and ink blended with Victorian velvet Oxide ink. All sentiments are from Simon Says Stamp Congratulations. The main sentiment on the card is heat embossed on vellum using Hero Arts silver embossing powder. Both sentiment tags are cut w...

Invitations for a christening and 30th birthday

Billede
Hello everyone! This without a doubt is my biggest project to date. And I'm so happy (and proud) of how it turned out. See this young woman on the right, a family friend (picture published with permission) asked if I could create 30 invitations for the christening of her daughter. No problem, right! She really liked a bokeh background I did a while back - man, did they take a long time to create. My arm was falling off by the 30th 😆 I had the layout all figured out. Background and label cut with Simple and Basic dies, cutie batootie MFT elephants colored, MFT Baby rattle and Altenew In-line alpha's cut. This year however, we've all been affected by a certain virus. So they've had to delay the christening. And now it was conveniently close to her 30th birthday, so she'd really like for me to add that. What a challenge it was to get this just right. I wanted her to love it, but perhaps more importantly I wanted me to love it. To be proud of it. So I came up with this...

Birthday card for Sis

Billede
Hello everyone! I'm back with a card that's anything but cas! I often find that making cards for a specific person is easier than "just" making a card that's for "anyone". And I've said before I'm a more-is-more kinda person. Yet sometimes I feel that maybe I went a bit too far... This may be more of a shabby chiec type of card. I don't know. What do you think? I started by coloring this fun Stamping Bella image - Uptown Girls Whitney and Wendy love wine. Those ruffles! And of course I had to give at least one dress a glitter treatment, lol! Oh, wait, what's that? Yes, they are glitter stilettos as well. Copics used: Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000 + R32, R20 Hair: E41, E43, E44 / E23, E25, E29 Dresses/Hats: RV69, RV29, RV25, RV23, RV21, RV10 / B39, B37, B26, B24, B23, B21 + BG57, BG53, BG01 Bottle/Wine: C7, C5, C3 + R89, R46, R35 I chose a square card base and a whole bunch of dies. Base layer is a patterned paper (local store) an...

Movie night with Bella...

Billede
Hello Everyone! This is a first for me. One stamped image Stamping Bella Melissa loves movies (well 2, the popcorn is a seperate stamp) and then the whole panel Copic colored freehand. Yikes! I kinda wish I'd stamped the image a little lower, but I'd planned to use a different sentiment. I wanted it to look like they're cuddled up watching a movie. And from the look of the chicks it must be a horror one, lol! Copics used: Skin: E15, E13, E11, E00 + R14, R29 Hair: E49, E18, E39, E35, E53 Suit: RV09, RV06, RV02 Chicks: BG78, BG75, BG72, BG70 + YR27, YR23 Popcorn: E43, E42, E40, YR23, Y00 Box: BG72, BG70 Pillows: E79, E77, E74, E71, E70 Chair: RV99, RV95, RV93, RV91 + E49, E29, E25 Wall: W7, W5, W3, W1 Floor: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, E49 The sentiment is also a first one for me. It's handwritten.I just couldn't help myself. A) It's a Stamping Bella stamp. B) It's a line from one of my favorite movies and it could be what they'...

Love chicks

Billede
Hello everyone! I'm ba-aaack! I've enjoyed a long, wonderful vacation, a much needed break.  As I think I've already mentioned I don't celebrate Valentine's day. But that's not going to stop me from using the cute Stamping Bella Valentine Chicks. Love cards can be used all year round, right?! The are pretty much the same, except for the colors used. For this one I've used Spun sugar and Picked raspberry Distress inks to ink smoosh the background. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Love by Kristina Werner. I just love this set/die. I stamped in Versafine Onyx black ink and covered with WOW! clear embossing powder. I repeated twice for a smoother, glossy look. Would you believe I've lost my notes on the colors used, LOL! I'm unsure about the Y's.  Copics used: Chicks: C5, Y08, Y06, Y00 + YR09, YR04 Bows: V09, V17, V15, V12 Pink: RV29, RV25, RV23 Envelope: C1 Cupcake: E29, E25, E23 For this card I used Shaded lilac a...

Stamping Bella birthday

Billede
Hello everyone! Since my daughter started school, I'm thinking she will need some birthday cards. And I would rather have them on hand than stress over them when she gets invited. So I will try to build a stash for this. I stamped the Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Ring around the rosie, colored it with Copics and fuzzy cut it out. Copics used: Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, R32 / V12, E21, E00, E000, R20 / E43, E31, E41, R11 Hair: E35, E37, E59 / E41, E43, E44 / V12, C3, C5, C7, C9 Blues: BG15, BG13, BG23, BG10 Yellows: Y21, Y11, Y00, Y000 Pinks: RV66, RV55, RV52, V000 For the background I blended New fish in pond, You said what and Happy go lucky inks from Waffle Flower. Then I placed the Mama Elephant Number it numbers 1-9, inked with WOW! embossing ink, sprinkled with WOW! Opaque white embossing powder and heat set it. I stamped the sentiment from My favorite things Celebrate with Cake with the same pink ink used on the background and popped up both sentimen...
