RAM stamps Birthday palooza

Billede
Hey friends! The April release is now live over at RAM Stamps and it's a fun one for sure! It has everything you'll need to create a birthday card - a boy and a girl, lots os balloons, cute birds, bees and other bugs, flowers, hearts, stars, sentiments, numbers celebrating ages 1 through 10 AND a gorgeous paper pack to go with it all. Here I'll be sharing a fun pop-up box card and a much simpler card using some of the many files.  I decided to make this cute pop-up box card for my niece who turns 3 in May. I printed the girl, bird and flower as they are, tehy come in black and soft grey outlines. The balloon set comes as a finished panel and seperate balloons, and I made my own background to fit the back of the card. And what's so clever about the files is that you can layer them on top of the patterned paper, like I did here. Saved me the hassle of cutting these tiny cuties out. I don't have a die for this, I simply made my own template. This is 29,5 by 15 cm. You...

Pop-up how-to

Billede
Hi friends, here's a how-to on my pop-up cards. Last summer I decided on finding a card design that was sort of interactive, yet not too dimensional, to make for the Danish Operation write home.  For those who don't know, the Operation write home delivers cards for military personnel to send home to their loved ones while deployed.  ~ My favorite things Mermazing, Elegant rectangle stax, Neat & Tangled Mermazing, Taylored Expressions Sweet scallop stencil The pop-up card design is not my original idea. It's been around for years, and I recall making one a looong time ago, but it was tedious and I didn't like the working process. But I recently saw Jennifer Mcquire make it this way, and I knew I had to give it a try. And once I'd made one they just flowed on out of my crafty quarters. They are really easy to make and add quite the dimension to the card. AND - they fold flat, which is absolutely perfect. ~ Whimsy stamps Whale of a time, Sunny Studios stamps Sea ...

Girly overload...

A very girly card, and my first side-step card. I struggled a bit with the layout, but I'm really happy with the result.  The girl is from Make it Crafty, which has sadly closed.  All make-up, ring/diamonds and shoes are from Three Scoops Nail polish and perfumes are from NHH Small text sentiment from Gavlhuset Brush Tillykke die from Gitte's eget design 18 numbers from Mama Elephant  Numbers and die cut word cut from Nuvo mirror card.  The "paper" is ink smooshed paper using Victorian velvet and Spun sugar Distress inks.

Selective spotlight technique

Here are 2 more sets of cards for the Danish Operation write home where I've used my so-called selective spotlight technique.  All stamps used are from Three Scoops, except for the "sender dig solskin" (sending you sunshine) sentiment, which is from Gitte's eget design. Stencil from My favorite things.

Fun with Alex Syberia digital stamps

Hi everyone! It's been a while. Life happened. Let's just leave it at that. Things are not great, but I'm trying to get back to posting regularly. If you're not following me on Instagram, this might the time to do so, since I won't be posting all my projects here. You can find my IG here . Anyway, while I was temporarily doing inner maintenance, you may have unsuccesfully tried to purchase digital stamps at the Alex Syberia shop on Etsy. That is because she moved her shop to a new website - you can check that out here . For the first card I used Be Girly digital stamp . I just lov this one! As always I colored with my Copic markers, and I was going for a really glossy look. Markers used: RV69, RV66, RV55, RV52 E35, E34, E33, E31, E30 I printed the image twice and cut the 2 bows out of one of them. I colored them with the lightest pink marker and then added a mix of a pink translucent embossing powder (from Michael's) and a WOW embossing sparkles. I only glued ...

*reklame* Hello everyone! Welcome back to more inspiration from the new Alex Syberia Design release. I'm up on the Alex Syberia blog with this cute card today! It is an absolutely amazing release and I highly recomend you visit her Etsy shop  if you haven't already. And in case you didn't know YOU could win a gift card for Alex's Etsy shop by hopping along with us in our Instagram hop (from yesterday). Today I'm sharing a card using 2 of the new stamps - Love you and Coloring therapy. The Coloring therapy stamp is what you see in the background there. It really was therapy. And honestly that stamp would do fine on its own, in my opinion, but I had already decided I wanted to use it as a background for this too cute giraffe! I fuzzy cut the giraffe and added Nuvo glaze to the glasses and then liberally sprinkled over with holo-glitter (Lawn Fawn), which is still everywhere in my craftroom 😂  Copics used: BG75, G24, G43,G40 B0000 E35, E34, E31 E55, E53, E51 E47, ...
