MFT Card Design Superstar: Innovation master

Billede
Hello everyone! Here's my 3rd and last card for the MFT Card Design Superstar challenge. This is for the Innovation master category. Now, I had completely different ideas for my Innovation project, but I just didn't have the time. So that will have to wait and I opted for a much simpler design.  A little bit of ink blending and a single Nuvo drop, along with these MFT products: Mesmerizing Mandala die-namics Delightfull Deer die-namics Let it snowflake too die-namics Beautiful blessings Glitter cardstock (from Bundle of Balloons kit) I decided on a flop card with a semi-see through opening made with the mandala die. No biggie, right?! After cutting through the card base, I added a mandala cut from glitter cardstock.  I then went through my stash for something symmetrical that would work with the see through design, but in the end I decided to mirror the delightful deer. On the back / inside I added a mandala from teal cardstock and the the mirrored deer along with the other d

MFT Card Design Superstar: Coloring Virtuoso

Billede
Hello everyone! It's that time of year and although I currently have way too much going on, I wanted to make time for the Design Superstar challenges at My Favorite Things. For this card I used a little bit of masking, lots of Copic markers and a couple of MFT stamp sets. The floor, wall and tropical scene are free hand colored. MFT stamps: Our story Mermazing Flamazing (large palm tree and water ripples) Party like a pirate Cutieasaurus I hope you like it! I stamped the ripples over the mermaid to make it look like she's come up to check out that cute pirate. Brought in a bit of yellow for that lamp glow. I really hope you like it! I've wanted to create this kind of scene for a loooong time, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe, and happy crafting! Tina

Shoes can change your life - a Cinderella story

*ADD* Hello everyone! I have this dreamy fairytale inspired card up on the Alex Syberia Design blog today - hop on over for a closer look. I mean, can we just take in all that glitter for a minute 😍 I used the Be Girly stamp, and I actually modified the stamp a bit. I continued the sole to the tip making these open toe stiletto's. It really was just a matter of adding 2 lines. I went back and forth with this card. First I planned to use lots of glitter. But I didn't want to leave the bow uncolored, as I wanted to see the shadows and highlights of the beautiful design. Once I had colored them though, I almost didn't have the heart to cover all those details.  Luckily I had printed it out twice for layers, so I colored the bow once more and decided to add glitter to those. I cut off the "underside" of the bows, since you wouldn't see the glitter on the inside fold.  I used just a few Copic markers: BG49, BG15, BG23, G00 100, C7 / C5, C3, C1 I decided on WOW

70th birthday

Billede
Hey everyone! Today I'm sharing a custom made birthday card for a friend of the family. Meaning my Mom asked me to make it for someone I've known most of my life. So I wanted it to be special. The recipient is a joker, it's always fun to be around her. My Mom asked me to include that  - she plays golf  - has a wiener (dachshund)  - has worked for SAS (the airline) for a lifetime and  - "plumeria, the flag of Thailand or something else Thai" since she's married to a Thai (a prince none th eless) and travels there a lot. Oh, and by the way, if you think the tag looks familiar that's because the tag was in my post for AAA Birthday card for september, which is still running, so check that out HERE . So these happy ladies are from the Art Impressions Girlfriends series, the Laughing set. I love them! And it was absolutely perfect for this card! I totally picture my Mom and her friend like this rolling over with laughter. I can almost hear them, lol! The wiene
