Handmade Paper Hugs

 A very girly card, and my first side-step card. I struggled a bit with the layout, but I'm really happy with the result.  The girl is from Make it Crafty, which has sadly closed.  All make-up, ring/diamonds and shoes are from Three Scoops Nail polish and perfumes are from NHH Small text sentiment from Gavlhuset Brush Tillykke die from Gitte's eget design 18 numbers from Mama Elephant  Numbers and die cut word cut from Nuvo mirror card.  The "paper" is ink smooshed paper using Victorian velvet and Spun sugar Distress inks.

  Hello everyone! Here's a really quick and cute card with quite an impact. A while back I made a bunch of cards featuring Fifty, the mascot for Operation skriv hjem (Operation write home). He's a free digital image from NNH Design. Back then I first colored this in greens and earth colors. Then I thought to ask if our troops are mostly in green, desert or navy camouflage. Turns out it's primarily desert troops, so this guy never made it onto a card. But, I couldn't leave him "hanging" and this background really screamed military pattern.  I just LOVE the big word dies and now we can get them with danish words as well - YAY!   Hello Everyone! Hope your year is off to a great start. Mine is tough, I tell ya! A new lockdown started after Christmas, they already prolonged once and home schooling is taking its toll on me and my daughter. Time for crafting is sparse and this set of cards took... A while.  So - these cards feature a nice portrait of Fifty the bear sending hugs. In case you don't know Fifty he's the very proud mascot of the Danish Operation Write Home - OSH. During our first lockdown last spring the designer from NHH Design created a series of free digital stamps featuring Fifty and I've only just now come to using them. I printed out a bunch of bears and colored him to fit the desert troops he will be "joining" soon. I did very simple coloring and almost no shading.
