RAM Stamps Kookaburra and Koala Christmas

Billede
Hey everyone, here's another adorable RAM Stamps  Christmas card using Kookaburra and Koala Christmas .  Fun story - I traveled around in Australia for 4 months some 20 years ago, and we stayed in Airlie Beach (south of Townsville, Queensland) and we were woken up by a huge flock of Kookaburra laughing in the trees above the hut at 5.30 in the morning. Even then we were able to appreciate the experience that I imagine not many people get to have. Oh, and just for laughs, the Cockatoos took over about 30 minutes later 😂 I wanted a wreath around the image, so I die cut with a circle die. Believe it or not what's inside the wreath is Copic colored and outside the wreath is ink blended Cracked Pistacio Oxide ink. I used the MFT Joy wreath but it was way too small for my image. So I cut it twice, separated the leaves and built my own wreath.  I added a sentiment from My Favorite Things - Joyful Christmas sentiment and a few gems. Copics used: E49, E44, E44, E42, E42 + B26, BG...

The Greeting Farm winter city scene

Billede
Hey friends, here's a cutesy couple set in a winter city scene. She looks very infatuated, doesn't she? But is it the young man, or his cute dog that has her attention? We'll never know. They are from The Greeting Farm Miss Anya Hello Winter and Warm Wishes. The city scene is Stamping Bella Sketchy Corner Backdrop. I don't typically purchase this kind of stamp but I figured it would work for all seasons, and I loves pairing it with these 2. I wasn't going for a night scene and honestly, it wasn't until I made the street lamp glow. Oh well. I guess the lamps are turned on early during winter, right? So maybe late afternoon. Anyway, here's the Copics I used E04, E11, E000, E000 W7, R59, R85 R85, R83, R81 E51, E55, E23 (hair)  E44, E43, E42, E41 W9, W7, W5, W3 E50, E51, E53 (dog)  E55, E57, E59 (hair/shoes)  E49, E47, E44 + E42 + W2 (coffee)  W3, W2, W1 + B00, B0000 (houses)  BV13, BV02, BV00, BV000 (snow)  B66, B63, B60 (sky)  YR27, YR24, YR21, Y2...

The Greeting Farm snow forest scene

Billede
Hey everyone, Christmas is now right around the corner and in a week's time it will all be over.  This isn't necessarily a Christmas card, but a winter card nonetheless.  The stamps are from The Greeting Farm Miss Anya Hello Winter and everything is Copic colored. The trees free hand. Sentiment from Sunny Studio Feeling Frosty.  I suppose I should indulge myself in a coloring class. I'd love to do some of the Enchanted scenes at Sansy Allnock. But I somehow always choose stamps over classes 🤷‍♀️ So, this is pretty much from watching others color. Sandy Allnock, Amy Young, Elaine Hughes (Markergeek) are among my favorites. And then of course, practice. Lots of practice.  Copics used E04, E11, E21, E000, E000 E55, E57, E59 W7, R59, R85 R85, R83, R81 E43, E42 (jacket fur)  W7, W5, W3 YR18 RV95, RV93, RV91, BV02, BV01, BV00, BV000 (sky)  BV04, BV02 (trees)  Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Christmas crafting.  Tina

Christmas bird, Sweet November Stamps

Billede
Hi everyone, this adorable birdie was a freebie in the Sweet November Stamps newsletter, and I just had to color him up. I added the gnome village and set for another night scene. The branch was added free hand.  My inspiration for bird was a Willow Warbler (dansk, Løvsanger). They're not particularly special in looks, honestly they're quite bland and they're rarely seen. Trust me, I've tried many times to get a shot of them in my garden, and I'm yet to succeed. But their song... I love it! Marvel at it. And I welcome them every spring 🥰 Copics used: E44, E43, E42, E41 and E47 for his feet W7, R59, R85 C3, C2, C00 (white)  C9, C7, C5 (black) E49, E79, E77, E74 (branch) W7, W5 + YR27, Y35 (houses)  W5, W3, W1 (bird house)  G17, YG05, G28 + R46 + E77, E33 (bird house foliage) G29, G17 (trees)  G28, YG67 (bushes) B95, B93, B91, B0000 W0, W2, E51, E50 (moon) BG70, BG72, BG75, B37, B39 I hope you like it!  Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy crafting!...

Santa banner cards

Billede
Good morning, everyone! Can believe in 2 weeks Christmas is over and it's once again a whole year away. Days are moving really fast, for me at least.  Here are 3 cards I created with my new Tim Holtz Colorize Santa Greetings die.  Die cutting is not typically my thing so I struggled with these, I'll be honest. But I love the result, and the Santa is just the cutest. So it was all worth it.  For the background I used  Simon says stamp Center cut Christmas icons  Nellie Snellen tree dies I used a mix of cardstock, including some non shedding from Rema1000 for the trees and Santa beard, and Nuvo mirror card for MERRY and GOD JUL (merry Christmas).  I also added stickles for extra sparkle.  On the green trees I added Liquid Applique and added glitter before I set (puffed) it. That tiny bottle is finally completely empty, after 10 years, so now comes the hunt for a new one.  Hope you enjoy the cards. Merry Christmas to all.  Happy holiday crafting...

Aurora winter night, Sweet November Stamps

Billede
I printed this adorable scene with the deer and snowman kissing noses. I'd be on the fence about the deer tough. We all saw how Sven tried to steal Olafs nose 😄 Anyway, here's my first Copic aurora sky. I think it's my first anyway. I struggled a bit, to be honest. I had colored the reds on the snowman and the reference photo (below) had a lot of purple in it. I didn't think that would work, so I instead used hot pinks. But that definitely didn't work. To try and salvage it I started going over with purples which I liked much better. I then darkened it further with purple. Also, I had just watched a coloring video from Elaine (Markergeek) and she used B90ies for her snow. I know right, that's dark. But since it's a night scene I figured I'd give it a go.  So, how did I do? Copics used: B95, B93, B91, B0000 E79, E77, E74 + YR23, Y11 G29, G17 (trees) G28, YG67 (bushes) W9, W7, W5 W9, R59, R85 E09, E08, YR18 (carrot) E37, E35, E34, E33, E31 + E27, E23 YG05...

Cookies and frosting, a Sweet November Stamps treat

Billede
Hey friends, Sweet November Stamps just released these adorable frosted cookies and I had to have a go at them. I started baking Christmas cookies and letting my daughter decorate them when she was 2. A couple of years ago her younger cousin joined us and I suspect the youngest one will join us next year. It's such a sweet tradition 🥰❤️ Have you made any Christmas cookies yet? And do you have any traditions?  I tried to use some of the tips from Amy Young. I'm not sure I'm entirely happy with the kitchen towel though. What do you think? Copics used: R24, R22, R20 E11, E21, E000 C2, C1, C00 E27, E25, E23 + E79, E77, E74 (deer)  G05, G02, G00 YR24, Y35, Y02 E55, E53, E51, E50 (cookie)  W5, W3, W1, E33, E42 (pan)  Thanks for stopping by.  Happy crafting! RAM stamps December release

Billede
**Ad / reklame The adorable December release from RAM stamps is now available, and since I love everything deer it should come as no surprise that I colored up the Holly Jolly Elf . I even flipped it and colored it twice.  As you can see, Santa's elves are readying Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer for a busy night of delivering presents. Santa is from Woodland Santa and I doubled and flipped this image too, to balance the scene with one more tree. I did have to cover up the fox on the flipped image, no biggie. Here are a couple of close-ups. I went to town and colored the whole scene with my Copic markers: E47, E44, E43, E42 + E79, E77, E74, E71 (deer)  E04, E11, E00, E000 + R32 R89, R85, R83, R81 G46, G43, YG61 E23, E55, E53 (shoes)  E51, E55 (hair)  100, C7, C5 Y26, Y28 (buckle + reins)  W3, W1 (white)  E42, E41 (beard)   E41, E42, E43, E44 (burlap sack)  C3, C1, RV02 (critters)  BG78, BG57, G46 (trees)  BG10, BG70, BG72, BG...

RAM stamps Light up emu

Billede
**Ad  Hey everyone! Here's a new Christmas card for RAM Stamps . I just can't handle the cuteness of this " Light up Emu ", isn't it just soooo cute? I colored with my Copics and die cut with Technique Tuesday Essential stitched labels. The patterned paper is also from RAM stamps, from the "Aussie Christmas" digital paper pack . This card is sort of simple yet with lots of layers. Hope you like it! Copics used: E47, E44, E33, E42 W9, W7, W5, W3, W1, 100 BV01, Y38, Y13 RV66, RV55, RV63 Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting! So very cold

Billede
Hey everyone! Here's a cute Christmas card using a new Krista Leigh Smith stamp. This blue/red combo is really growing on me and I wanted to use mainly those colors. What do you think of this combo? I added some texture using a sweater embossing folder from By Lene and backed the image with a tree cut with a Marianne Design die from patterned paper (My favorite things). I really love how this turned out. Thanks so much for stopping by!  Happy crafting!  Tina Copics used R29, R27, R35, R14 BG09, BG07, BG05, BG01 W7, W5, W3, W2 100, C7, C5 E13, E11, E21, E00 + R32 + R22, R20

RAM stamps Penguin & Snowman

Billede
Hi everyone! I'm super excited to share that I've joined the Rachelle Ann Miller stamps design team. I feel so honored to join this team of very talented ladies! For my first card I've used " Penguin & Snowman: sledding " from the recently released November release. I'm a Copics girl, and I colored both image and background with markers. I did however pop up the image for a bit of dimension.  I wanted there to be snow everywhere from the sled flying by. I first splattered with white acrylic paint diluted with water, but it just didn't do it for me. So I added an ultra high white embossing powder, and I love how that turned out.  Copics used: B00, B0000 + E33 100, C9, C7, C5 + W1 YR68, YR16, YR15 E08, E99, E97 E27, E57, E55 RV66, RV34, R81 BG15, BG34, BG11 BG72, BG53, BG000 Thanks for stopping by! Snowflake wishes cas Christmas card

Billede
Hey everyone! Have you started on your Christmas cards? Or maybe even finished?  I've only just started mine 🙈😂 Anyway, here's an old Make it Crafty digital stamp that I printed in a softer grey tone. Not 100% noline, but noline-ish. I actually really struggled with this when I started. I don't do much noline coloring, so I really need to think hard about it. After coloring in blues and pinks I thought about starting over, but decided to trust the process. And I'm glad I did. Once I colored skin and hair I suddenly was very happy with my coloring. So, trust the process, guys! I kept it simpel with just adding a sentiment (Stamping Bella Uptown Girl Katrina's Christmas kiss) and let's not talk about it being crooked 🙈 that's the downside of rubber stamps, right?! I considered stamping again and cutting it out to cover this, but I wanted the card to be one layer, so... 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, thanks for stopping by. And stay tuned for some exiting news!  Happy Christ...

Winter cutie

Billede
Hey guys, I really love this one. It's a Make it Crafty digital stamp "Felicity". At the same time it's bittersweet, because every time I color one of Zoe's stamps I regret not buying all of them 😔 I'm thinking of keeping this one. Do you keep some of your own cards because you just can't part with them? Sentiment from Concord 9th Winter wear. Copics used: Skin: E13, E11, E00, E000 + R22, R20 Lips: R85, R81 Hair: E79, E27, E57 Eyes: E59, E57, E55 Jacket: E70, E71, E74, E77 (E79) Scarf / hat: RV99, RV95, RV93, RV91 Blouse: RV17, RV09, RV04, RV02 IPOD / pants: 100, C7, C5, C3 Thanks for stopping by! Alex Syberia Designs Smile and Wave

Billede
Hey everyone, I'm up on the Alex Syberia Designs blog today with a set of cute cards that can be used for either birthday or Christmas and I absolutely love that these stamps can be used for both! I'm using the Smile and Wave  stamps and dies along with the Smile die .  **Add, since I'm on the design team, but the opinions are my own** The cards were made in the same way. I lightly spritzed a bit of water on both sides of my cardstock, to prevent too much warping. I then carefully added my color burst powders, for the pink card I used Lindy's magical shaker Magnolia magenta gold. I really love the wimsical look and thought these backgrounds were perfect for these cute penguins riding their snowboards. Sigh! Just look at those "golden" spots, much more shimmery in real life. And I really love the pink and blue speks in there. These penguins are having snow much fun, pun intended.   I Copic colored the darling penguins and die cut them with the coordinating ...
