Birthday card for a unicorn loving fairy

Billede
Hello everyone! A few days ago a dear crafty friend of mine celebrated her birthday. I should have had this ready but I sent it rather late and didn't think it would arrive in time. However luck would have it she actually received it on her birthday. YAY! I knew the card had to have 3 things. 1 - A unicorn, and preferably a fairy as well, so when I saw this image at Lemonshortbread on Etsy I knew it was exactly right! 2 - Primary colors because she loves the yellow, blue, pink combo 3 - Glitter because.... Glitter! I colored with Copics and added Ranger stickles and Memory Box Fairy sugar in various places. Copics used: Skin: V12, E31, E21, E00 Hair: V12, C5, C7, 100 Yellow: YR23, Y08, Y06, Y02, Y000 Blue: B26, B24, B21, B02, B00, B0000 Pink: RV17, RV66, RV55, RV52, RV10, RV0000 The large sentiment is from Avery Elle Be a unicorn and this one is from Gummiapan, a Swedish company. When I saw it I emediately thought of my friend. Dearest Enna, Happy birthday! I'm so happy you l

A frosty Christmas or birthday card

Billede
Hello everyone! Have you finished all your Christmas cards yet? Well I've at least sent the ones I wanted to by now, but I've been coloring so many Christmas images that I can make Christmas cards troughout the next year (so I probably will).  However, for some of them I have the choice of choosing a sentiment that can go with both Christmas and birthday, like this CC Designs sentiment that I selver heat embossed. The image is First Snow from Krista Leigh Smith (who was the owner of Saturated Canary). This is from her Etsy store. Now I didn't actually write my combos down for this but I'm sort of, kinda, almost sure that I used these: Skin: E13, E11, E21, E00 + R32 Lips: RV66, RV52 Eyes: B02, B00 Hair: E50, E53, E34 (very sparsely) Pink: R85, R83, R81 Grey: C7, C5, C3, C1 Jacket: E79, E77, E74, E71 Blouse: E43, E42, E41 Pants: B99, B97, B95, B93, B91 Sky: BV08, BV04, BV02, V12, V000 I finished off with white highlights and a My favorite things snowflake cut from silve

Christmas fairy all dressed in Copics

Billede
Hello everyone! I finally colored this digital Glimmermist Fairy from Make it Crafty (that sadly closed last year). While coloring the background with Copics have terrified me for ages, I'm loving the results I get. What do you think? In Denmark Christmas Elfs are dressed in red and grey, so that's what I chose for this fairy. Copics used: Skin: E04, E13, E11, E21, E00, E000 + RV13 Hair/Eyes: E37, E99, E97 Red: R89, R29, R35, R14 Grey: C5, C3, C1 Wings: R11, R01, R00, R000 + YR000 + Y000 Sky: BG10, BG23, BG15 + B95, B97, B99 I used my white gelly roll pen for glitter and sparkle and white heat embossed a Mama Elephant sentiment. Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe and happy crafting!
