Happy crafting.  Tina X

Husband's 50th birthday card

Billede
Hey everyone! Today is my husband's 50th birthday and I made him this special sidestep card. It holds not everything but a lot of what he is and loves. I actually had to leave things out because it wouldn't fit.  He works as a technician, always has, and he has a special thing for... Screw drivers. Apparently.  It's a standing joke that he doesn't have any and should put it on his wishlist. When in reality he has soooooo many 🙈 So as a joke I "hid" a bunch in the card. My daughter couldn't find all of them. Can you? Scroll to find answer.  Products used: * Avery Elle, Fly-by - My husband constantly checks travel ideas for our next adventure  * My Facorite Things, Hot cocoa cups - He LOVES! coffee, grinds his beans himself  * Three Scoops, Surprise pakke 11 - Vaca! Usually travel includes sun, snorkelling and whale watching * Sugar Pea Designs, Grill Master - He's an avid BBQ-chef and likes to make use of it all year round regardless of rain and snow *...

Once again I've used the awesome set of summer stamps from Three Scoops.  For all of the cards I used the Waffle Flower stencil For one set I used a circle frame, for the other a mini palm tree. Both are from Poppystamps.  Scroll down for the second set of cards.

Carving pumpkins

Billede
Hey everyone! It's almost Halloween and I feel like I didn't do enough Halloween cards. But time got away from me, I guess. Anyway, do you like carving pumpkins? Halloween is kind of a newer thing here in Denmark and I never felt the need to be a part of it. But when my daughter was 2 we started carving pumpkins and it's been a tradition since. And I absolutely love it! For this card a used a new Krista Leigh Smith digital stamp and I think it's so cute! I used Dried marigold, Spiced marmalade and Crackling campfire Oxide inks, smooshed them on the card panel and then added a sentiment and small pumpkins from Poppystamps using Altenew inks. Fun with Alex Syberia digital stamps

Billede
Hi everyone! It's been a while. Life happened. Let's just leave it at that. Things are not great, but I'm trying to get back to posting regularly. If you're not following me on Instagram, this might the time to do so, since I won't be posting all my projects here. You can find my IG here . Anyway, while I was temporarily doing inner maintenance, you may have unsuccesfully tried to purchase digital stamps at the Alex Syberia shop on Etsy. That is because she moved her shop to a new website - you can check that out here . For the first card I used Be Girly digital stamp . I just lov this one! As always I colored with my Copic markers, and I was going for a really glossy look. Markers used: RV69, RV66, RV55, RV52 E35, E34, E33, E31, E30 I printed the image twice and cut the 2 bows out of one of them. I colored them with the lightest pink marker and then added a mix of a pink translucent embossing powder (from Michael's) and a WOW embossing sparkles. I only glued ...

AAA Birthday Blog game #32 - Easel card

Billede
Hey everyone! Can you believe it's December 😱 Honestly this year has flown by just as fast as 2020, in my opinion. But! Before we're ready to end the year we have one more challenge for you this year at AAA Birthday Blog , and our theme for the month of December is - Easel card!  Easel cards are pre-bent to stand up and show off their beauty. Easel cards can easily be made without dies (lots of tutorials on YouTube), but this time I chose to use the Poppystamps Adriana pop up easel set. It has a beautiful leafe ornament frame and a shaped base. I die cut the base from white cardstock and the base background from patterned paper (from a really old Joy! Creations pad). Before die cutting the ornament frame I covered my white cardstock with washi tape from Memory Box - Watercolor Forest Greenery. I find that using my bonefolder while layering it over really helps to smooth it out. The washi tape has holly, red berries and other winter greenery, but I believe holly, snow and de...
