Hey friends! I'm sharing another set of cards for the Danish Operation write home. Hey everyone! Still sharing Christmas cards. Here's a quick set of cards using Concord and 9th Snowflake Turnabout, Winter wear stamps, a couple of inks and some Copic markers. Can't get over how cute these are. These cards are simple and with limited coloring, but they have such a cozy feel to them. Don't you think? Thanks so much for stopping by. Let me know in the comments if you've started on your Christmas cards yet. Stay safe, and happy crafting. Tina

Magical Flower - a multi-layered card

Billede
Hey everyone, I'm up on the Alex Syberia blog today with this multi-layered card cut from SVG-files - SQUEAL!! I'm a happy little camper these days, because for Christmas I finally got a Silhouette Cameo. I have wanted one for eons and I would totally be lying if I didn't blame Alex for making me want one even more. This also means I haven't been coloring for a while, because I'm getting to know my new friend. Bare with me while I figure everything out 🙏 For this card I used the Magical Flower cut file. I cut all layers from white cardstock and colored them with copic markers - you can find the colors on Alex's blog . Thanks for stopping by. Be safe and happy crafting. Tina

AAA Cards guest designer - Game #206 Moodboard

Billede
Hello everyone! Today I'm so honored to be guest designing over on the AAA Cards challenge blog. It's a blog dedicated to CAS cards (clean and simple). I don't typically do CAS cards, although I have done quite a few this past year.  The theme this month is this beautyful mood board, and I feel I've incoorporated the elements quite well - snowflake, snow, sky blue, dog, fence/gate. I encourage you to stop by the AAA Cards blog since there is a challenge hop with prizes to be won! I stamped and masked to create this one-layer scene using My favorite things Warmest wishes, Snow buddies and Best in show and then Copic colored the scene using mainly B60-ies and C's. The sky was ink blended though. I also added a bit of Liquid applique and sprinkled over some glitter before setting it. I used a sentiment from MFT Warm wishes and heat embossed it onto vellum. I placed the vellum on top of a white snowflake - Simon says stamp Sophie snowflake - and placed it over some c

Secret santa monochromatic Christmas

I know Christmas is long over, but I still have Christmas cards to share. Hope you don't mind. So I couldn't send off Christmas cards for the Danish operation write home without using my favorite set - My favorite things Secret santa. I kept them really simple, and honestly my starting point was using just one marker for everything colored. But then I changed my mind and I did use a little more. I used pinks for the girl cards and reds for the boys cards. The Simple and Basic Julekram (Christmas hug) die is died with Distress ink smooshing.  And the matte? Totally cheating there and added a thin line with a Copic marker. Thanks for stopping by! Let me know in the comments what your favorite Christmas stamp set/die is. Stay safe, and happy crafting! AAA Birthday challenge game #33 - 2 Favorite colors

Billede
Happy new year, you guys!! Today we're kicking off the first challenge of the year over at AAA Birthday blog and the first theme of the year is..... 2 favorite colors. Also, we're having a micro hop with our sister challenge blog AAA Cards between the 9th and 22nd January, so don't forget to check out the details . So the slimline format might be surprising to you, but the colors wont be. Right? I mean, pink and purple - everyone knows they're my favorite.  The girl is a digital stamp from Krista Leigh Smith and I just love the her expression. When I saw the image I felt like she was shaking her head in disbelief. I knew that I wanted to pair her with those sentiments - What the what now?! You're THAT old?! No WAY?! 😆 I colored her with Copics some time during the fall and fuzzy cut the image. Copics used: Skin: E13, E11, E21, E00 + R32 Lips: RV09, RV04 Make-up: RV95, RV11 Blouse: RV69, RV66, RV55, RV52 Hair: E59, E25, E33 Pants: W3, W3, W1, W0 The background was
