Sweet November Stamps - Easter tag

Billede
Hi friends! Easter is around the corner and I made this adorable wobble tag using the Spring Cookies: Cookie set 2 . I'm sure my daughter will love this cutie and these chocolate surprises - how adorable are they? I wanted more than my usual warm greys for shading white, so I brought in a bit of soft violets. Copics used:  BV01, B60, W0, colorles blender RV13, RV21, RV10 And to add to the fun I popped the bunny up on a wobble. Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy crafting and I hope you'll have a very happy Easter. Tina *Ad - the stamps were given to me, but opinions remain my own.

Alex Syberia Designs "Thank you for being my friend" February release blog hop & Giveaway

Billede
Hey everyone! Today I'm guest designing for the Alex Syberia Designs February release - **ADD For the blog hop today I've made a slimline card using techniques from 2 cardmakers that I admire. It's a one-layer card which obviously means I had to do some masking and I swear with every fuzzy cut mask I was thinking of all the reels and cards that Sylvie has made with masking, she is a QUEEN!! The torn edge rainbow is inspiration from Kati who does everything in rainbows and I love it all!  I used Abandaned coral, Squeezed lemonade, Tumbled glass and Shaded lilac Distress Oxide inks for the rainbow and then added some specks through the Speckled background stencil. The adorable bunnies are from the Spring Bunnies set. I used almost all of the bunnies because they're just so cute! The set doesn't include a banner, though. So I placed the stamp in my Misti and bend the edges upward, then cut a small mask to make the banner and colored in the lines with a fine line pe...

Stencil Techniques - Poppystamps

Billede
Hello everyone! Today I'm up on the  Poppystamps Blog  with a series of stenciling techniques. Simple stenciling with one color of ink, also using patterned paper. Ink blending for depth. Check out the labels - so romantic, don't you think? My favorite - texture paste with glitter embossing powder. L-O-V-E!!! Texture paste with watercolor powders. These shimmery colorburst powders from Nuvo are so gorgeous! And finally partial stenciling. I love that wheelbarrow and whimsical flower branch - so cute. And the glitter paper - sturdy, very glittery, cuts easily. Oh, and the Fairy Sugar - gorgeous! There are a few more details over on the  Poppystamps Blog  including product links.  Please let me know if there's a technique you'd like me to cover in the future. Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting.

First Easter card of the season

Billede
Hello everyone! I'm sharing my first Easter card of the season. I don't usually make a lot of Easter cards, but these Simon Says Stamp bunnies are TOO CUTE! The Marianne Design frame I first heat embossed with Honeydew embossing powder, then Sorbet glitter embossing powder. Both from WOW! What that does is the glitter embossing powder sticks better, and since the colors match it's more intense. Also, the glitter is "melted" into the first layer of embossing powder which gives a much smoother surface AND it (almost) doesn't shed any glitter. Just look at that shine!  Copics used: Bunny: E35, E34, E31, E30 + RV02, RV00, RV0000 Basket: E51, E53, E55, YR27 + C1 Eggs: RV02, RV00, RV0000 BV13, BV01, BV000 Y08, Y06, Y00 G94, G43, G40 It's honestly a very simple card. Some light ink blending using Spun sugar and Worn lipstick Distress Oxide inks giving an ombre aura around the glitter frame. Sentiment "Happy Easter" stamp from ...
