Sweet birthday card

Billede
Hi guys! I don't typically create cards like this one, but I love the look so I'll try to do a couple of them. For this card I used a Make it Crafty digital stamp. I backed it with patterned paper from an old Reverse Confetti pad and added a bit of thin twine. I didn't want to take away from the beautiful soft look, so I left the congrats cut (My favorite things) white. I absolutely adore this soft blue, how 'bout you? (see what I did there?) "Funny" story with the hair. I colored all of the hair, except for one small portion at the front, and then left it until the next day. Bad idea! It came out darker and I didn't want to darken the rest, so you can actually tell which portion it is. oh, well.... Copics used: Dress: B66, B63, B60 Skin: E13, E11, E21, E00 + R32 Eyes: B26, B24, B21, B000 Hair: E37, E34, E30 Thanks so much for stopping by! Stay safe, and happy crafting. Tina

Summer friend card

Billede
You guys,  I can share this card because it has reached it's recipient who has just been such a wonderful and supportive friend during my absence from social media. The image is a Krista Smith digital stamp and I just love this sunflower field. I kept it in just a few colors and I really like the outcome. Sentiments are from an old Simon Says Stamp set. Copics used: YR27, Y35, Y11 E71, E74, E77, E79 G94, G43, G40 E13, E11, E21, E00 + RV13, RV11 Thank you so much for stopping by! Stay safe, and happy crafting!

Custom made graduation card

Billede
Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a custom made card and I may have gone a little overboard with it. So grab a cuppa, 'cause this is a long post. Initially I just got "graduation, champagne and glitter". But I remember how important graduation was, and I wanted to make it more special, so I asked for more and got "Netflix, coffee, make-up, no immediate plans for education, but partying for now". The most important thing of course is the graduation hat. Here in Denmark the hats are the same but the band changes color depending on which specific type of school you graduate from. This one is like mine and of a 3-year middle school somewhere in between hichscool and college. I wanted to incorporate everything and I started with a black and white base covered in books (Mama Elephant Bookworm). Student (graduate) cut from red glitter cardstock (My favorite things Little letters) to match the band on the graduate's hat (By Lene Studenterhue). I used the same red

Mother's day card

Hi friends! Another card long overdue. Well my Mom had it on time, but only sharing now. Alcohol ink on Yupo, gold glitter cardstock cut with Altenew Rose filament dies, as well as the word Mor (Mom) die from Three Scoops. I cut the shadow from vellum. I dared stamping on the vellum but I did have to carefully set it. I don't do many simple cards but I really love this. Thanks so much for stopping by1 Stay safe, and happy crafting! Tina

70th birthday card

Billede
Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a custom made 70th birthday card for a friend of the family. He loves golf, beer and flowers and he's worked for a local news paper for ages. I knew I had to use Mo's digital pencil "Big guy golfing". The beer bottle and glass are from Three Scoops (bottle says cheers), tillykke (congrats) die from Gitte's eget design and the numbers from The Cat's Pajamas. I added a WOW! embossing powder mix to the numbers. I couldn't fit in flowers as well, so I stenciled the beautiful peonies from a Simon Says Stamp stencil. I wantes to add a braided patch of newspaper, so I cut a few strips and ripped the ends. I added newspaper to the word cut as well. In the end this card totally describes the birthday boy and I'm really happy with the results. Thanks so much for stopping by! Stay safe, and happy crafting! Tina

Fun with Alex Syberia digital stamps

Billede
Hi everyone! It's been a while. Life happened. Let's just leave it at that. Things are not great, but I'm trying to get back to posting regularly. If you're not following me on Instagram, this might the time to do so, since I won't be posting all my projects here. You can find my IG here . Anyway, while I was temporarily doing inner maintenance, you may have unsuccesfully tried to purchase digital stamps at the Alex Syberia shop on Etsy. That is because she moved her shop to a new website - you can check that out here . For the first card I used Be Girly digital stamp . I just lov this one! As always I colored with my Copic markers, and I was going for a really glossy look. Markers used: RV69, RV66, RV55, RV52 E35, E34, E33, E31, E30 I printed the image twice and cut the 2 bows out of one of them. I colored them with the lightest pink marker and then added a mix of a pink translucent embossing powder (from Michael's) and a WOW embossing sparkles. I only glued

Birthday card for a crafty friend - why I love digital stamps

Billede
Hey everyone! I'm sure we all have a special friend that we really want to impress when sending them a card. Someone who understands the work that went into making it. This card was made for such a friend.  Actually I've wanted to make a card like this forever, and now I finally had an excuse. I combined / layered 5 different digital stamps from Make it Crafty. I spent a long time and several tries to place the girls so that both hat and gift would show, and at the same time hiding a phone. I also had to add legs on the girl in the middle. She is actually sitting in the original stamp. And would you believe the girl in the pink top (blonde hair) is originally wearing a bikini and holding a beach ball? This is why I love digital stamps! And I'm really happy with how it turned out. Copics used (one girl at a time, from left to right): Girl 1 Skin: E27, E25, E13, E11 + RV13 Eyes: E59, E57, E55 Hair: E49, E59, E57 Top: V09, BV08, BV04, BV02 Jacket/skirt: R89, R85, R83, R81 +

Twist & pop 50th birthday card

Billede
Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a custom made 50th birthday card. I didn't have much to go on, except "stripes" and my friend who ordered it likes "surprise" in cards. So I wanted to make a fun pop-up card. I stenciled the background (Birch Press stencil) for the stripes part and stamped a sentiment (The Cat's Pajamas). The beautiful peony arrangement is from Simon Says Stamp (Strangeness). Copics used: Y28, Y17, Y13 R89, R85, R83, R81 V09, BV17, BV13, BV01 BG78, G43, G40 On the inside I made a fun twist and pop feature (no dies) and I cut the letters TILLYKKE (which means congrats) with Altenew Bold alpha dies and since I thought it looked a bit too white I used a fine liner to add lines and flowers. Thank you for stopping by! Stay safe, and happy crafting! Tina
