Today I'm sharing a card using 2 of the new stamps - Love you and Coloring therapy. The Coloring therapy stamp is what you see in the background there. It really was therapy. And honestly that stamp would do fine on its own, in my opinion, but I had already decided I wanted to use it as a background for this too cute giraffe! I fuzzy cut the giraffe and added Nuvo glaze to the glasses and then liberally sprinkled over with holo-glitter (Lawn Fawn), which is still everywhere in my craftroom 😂  Copics used: BG75, G24, G43,G40 B0000 E35, E34, E31 E55, E53, E51 E47,

  *reklame* Hello everyone! The Alex Syberia Design July release is now live and you are going to LOVE this release! You can find all the new stamps in Alex's Etsy shop here - but first, let me introduce you to "my" garden. See, I was looking for a stamp with coneflowers and I couldn't really find any (that I liked at least). So I asked Alex if she would consider making a stamp. This is it! It's simply called Tina's garden and I LOVE it!! I hope you do too. You're welcome, lol 😉 I wanted the stamp to be the star of this card, so I printed and Copic colored it. Although the ones in my garden are deep pink, I chose a couple of warm colors and gave it a warm sunset feel. I love the cozy quiet feel I get in my garden on summer nights - how about you? Hello everyone! Can you believe it's July already? Well today we're kicking off the July challenge over at AAA Birthday Challenge blog and the theme this month is Use an embossing folder. For this card I was greatly inspired by a video I watched recently from Jaycee Gaspar - find it here . I was just playing around with different embossing folders and trying different things and although this is very dark and much different to my usual style I totally love the look! I used Memory Box Chrysanthemum Field 3D embossing folder. Obviously I used a black ink (Versafine Onyx Black) and applied all over the embossing folder which really made the flowers stand out. Using the technique from the video I tore the sides of the paper and decided to back it with a couple of layers of gold embossing powder (Hero Arts) and plattered on some diluted gold acrylic paint. The My favorite things Hooray die also received a couple of layers of embossing powder, as did the sentiment which is also MFT
