Sweet November Stamps - SN Gals Libby and Laura

Billede
Here's something for all you readers out there! These 2 lovely SN Gals are taking a break with their favorite books.  For this card I used the girl on the lounge (I'm thinking this is Laura). Spring is slowly starting so I made sure the tree in her garden is showing signs of that. I placed the kitty cat right up against her for a bit of snuggling.  To create the scene I also used the new Simple Room Reading nook add-on as well as the Simple Room Autumn add-on. MFT sentiment. I have been crazy for green lately, so there's A LOT of that on this, although in a more dull variation. Copics used: E43, E42, E41 + E71 E77, E74, E71 W9, W7, W5, W3,  YG05, E74 + BG000 G46, G43, G40 - curtain, carpet YG67, YG17, YG13 - sweater, socks G29, G19, G05, YG05 - plant E43, E51, E50 E99, E97, E95 - cat YR27, YR24, YR23 - book in hand E09, E07 - book on floor E18, E09, YR27 - hair E13, E11, E21, E00 Thanks for looking! Stay crafty! Tina *Ad, design team post

Wondering Wabbit Sam & Shelly

Billede
I'm nuts about you! Sam went down the tree to pick a flower for Shelly, and she is completely smittened. Just look at her rosy cheeks, swirling her skirt and tossing those ears 🤭 Sam & Shelly were released in Nathalie's  @wonderingwabbit  Ko-Fi shop in the fall but I knew I had to make a love card sometime around Valentine's. After all the winter scenes, making this green spectacle made me so happy 💚 *Ad, design team post

Sweet November Stamps - Flight of the fairies

Billede
Hi friends! I am beyond ecstatic to announce that I've joined the Sweet November Stamps design team.  When I started making cards almost 10 years ago I bought layering stamps because I had no coloring skills nor intent to learn. Then I learned slowly by watching others color and Amy Young is who eventually gave me the confidence to color a whole card panel and creating my own backgrounds. So I feel very proud and honored. Thanks for the opportunity Amy and Tee. Today we're welcoming a new digital release - The flight of the fairies. There are 4 fairies to choose from and they are all adorable. I used Lavinia. When adding these cuties to my folder I spotted the cute Playful kittens and thought it would be fun to have one of them playing with the fairy. Then I thought it would be fun to have them on each side of a window. And once the idea had formed I couldn't let it go. I used the window from the Spring is back background builder set . It's originally meant to be see...

Alex Syberia Designs "Thank you for being my friend" February release blog hop & Giveaway

Billede
Hey everyone! Today I'm guest designing for the Alex Syberia Designs February release - **ADD For the blog hop today I've made a slimline card using techniques from 2 cardmakers that I admire. It's a one-layer card which obviously means I had to do some masking and I swear with every fuzzy cut mask I was thinking of all the reels and cards that Sylvie has made with masking, she is a QUEEN!! The torn edge rainbow is inspiration from Kati who does everything in rainbows and I love it all!  I used Abandaned coral, Squeezed lemonade, Tumbled glass and Shaded lilac Distress Oxide inks for the rainbow and then added some specks through the Speckled background stencil. The adorable bunnies are from the Spring Bunnies set. I used almost all of the bunnies because they're just so cute! The set doesn't include a banner, though. So I placed the stamp in my Misti and bend the edges upward, then cut a small mask to make the banner and colored in the lines with a fine line pe...

Spring fairy

Billede
Hello everyone! Today marks the beginning of a new The daily marker coloring challenge, although only for 10 days.  I really love the look of elongated images on slimline cards. So for today I colored this very happy digital Krista Smith fairy. Look how excited she is about happy mail 😉 As always I colored with my Copic markers and then added patterned paper behind her. The paper even has glitter on it 😍 I've added Memory Box Fairy sugar to her wings. You gotta have glitter! Copics used: Skin: E47, E27, E25, E23 + RV25 Hair: 100, E49, E57, E23 Eyes: E47, E37, E34 Pink: R89, R85, R83, R81 Yellow: Y38, Y17, Y13, Y11 Green: G99, G94, G24, G43, G40, BG11 White: W3, W1, W0 I stamped a sentiment from Mama Elephant Scripty Bday and popped up the fairy for dimension. I hope you're inspired to color! Thanks for stopping by! Stay safe, and happy crafting! AAA Birthday challenge - game #24 Shaped card

Billede
Happy Easter Monday friends! I hope your Easter offered lots of fun, family, relaxing, crafting or whatever you wished for.  Today we're kicking off the April challenge over at AAA Birthday blog and the theme this month is Shaped card. I recently (well some time last year) purchased these cute Whimsy stamps Hap-Bee birthday bees. I think they're so fun! I felt they would be the perfect feature for a hexagon-shaped card, so I stamped the bees and copic colored them. Copics used: Yellow: YR24, YR23, Y17, Y21, Y11  Black: E47, E44, E40 Wings: E55, E53, E50 Mouth: E99, E97, R85, R83 Orange: YR68, YR04, YR82 Teal: BG49, BG15, BG23 I thought it would be fun to also make it an easel card, so I used the largest die in the Waffle Flower Nesting hexagon set to cut these 2 pieces out.  To cut the one on the left I folded a piece of cardstock and placed the edge of the die juuuust outside the paper, so it would cut the whole shape and leave the fold.  Next I folded one h...

More cute birthday cards for Operation write home

Billede
If you're making your way here during the weekend I wish you a Happy Easter!  So a few days ago I sat down and used most of my gel press backgrounds from a few weeks ago. I paired them with lots of images that were already colored. I guess you can say I cleaned out 😆 Here's a couple more. I continued using the Pinkfresh Folk Hummingbird flower, because leaving the background all white is just too cas for me and the stamp was already out. Then I added the diagonally cut gel press paper and stamped a sentiment. The sentiment as well as these cute critters are from My favorite things Birthday Buds. Since this little cutie party piglet doesn't have wings I turned the card base to stamp the flower at the top in stead. Again these flat enamel dots are actually Nuvo drops. As you can probably see they can get a bit rough on the edges, but I'm OK with that. For the last card I used a couple more images and opted to not stamp the flower. In stead I added a few fluffy, pink cl...

Good vibes for Operation skriv hjem

Billede
Happy Easter everyone! I myself have not made it to Easter cards yet this year (and I doubt I will). So a few days ago I sat down and used most of my gel press backgrounds from a few weeks ago. I paired them with lots of images that were already colored. I guess you can say I cleaned out 😆 Here's a few of them. The cards will go to Operation skriv hjem - for deployed Danish troops to send to their loved ones.  First I stamped the flower and sentiment from Pink Fresh Studio Folk Hummingbird. Then I added a diagonally cut piece of gel press panel and added the encircled ponies. They are free digital stamps from YamPuff.  Finally I added a couple of Nuvo drops and for the first time ever using these I felt they were successful. I slapped the card down onto my table a couple of times and by accident some flattened. I then did this for all of them because 1) they look more like enamel dots, which I like and 2) I don't have to worry about the humpty domes getting flat when I stack ...

Gnome slimline card

Billede
Hello everyone! I'm up on Alex Syberia's blog today with a cute gnomes slimline card with lots of spring vibes! You can find the image here . I initially thought about making the card using only 2 of the gnomes. Check out the couple in bright pink and yellow hats holding a flower and bunny - how perfect would they be for an Easter card?!  But then I just loved them all too much and the sentiment (made in MS Word) came to mind. The "Gnome" is the only dimension on my card, the rest is all in one layer since this is a finished slimline image. Here's a close-up of one end (because we all know how hard it really is to fit a slimline card into a photo)... And here's a close-up of the other end. I colored it with Copics using only 3 color groups + neutrals. These cuties were just screaming for spring colors! Copics used: E13, E11, E21, E00 RV09, RV06, RV02 RV04, RV02 RV14, RV13, RV11 G99, G94, G43, G40 YG17, YG13, YG11 Y17, Y08, Y06, Y02 Y17, YR24, E99, E35 - mid...
