Summer cards for OSH - the masculine version

Billede
Today I'm sharing 2 sets of summer cards I made for the Danish operation write home. One was shared a while back on my Facebook paige, the other is "new". Once again I've used the awesome set of summer stamps from Three Scoops.  For all of the cards I used the Waffle Flower stencil For one set I used a circle frame, for the other a mini palm tree. Both are from Poppystamps.  Scroll down for the second set of cards.

Enjoy life!

Enjoy life! Danish sentiment from Three Scoops which fits the adorable Bear from Waffle Flower on these mini slimline cards for the danish Operation write home. A bit of ink blending, a few Nuvo drops and "corners" from Simon says stamp.

Summer card for my favorite girl

Billede
Hi! Missed me? I've been taking a looong break from IG and this blog. I've been sharing a tiny bit on my Facebook so I'll be uploading those to me blog.  This was a card I made for my beautiful daughter when summer started. Turns out summer wasn't much summer here in Denmark, but I had fun making this.  All stamps are from Three Scoops, as always colored with Copics.  Alpha die from Altenew (sentiment says "wishing you an amazing summer").  Stencil from Waffle Flower.

70th birthday

Billede
Hey everyone! Today I'm sharing a custom made birthday card for a friend of the family. Meaning my Mom asked me to make it for someone I've known most of my life. So I wanted it to be special. The recipient is a joker, it's always fun to be around her. My Mom asked me to include that  - she plays golf  - has a wiener (dachshund)  - has worked for SAS (the airline) for a lifetime and  - "plumeria, the flag of Thailand or something else Thai" since she's married to a Thai (a prince none th eless) and travels there a lot. Oh, and by the way, if you think the tag looks familiar that's because the tag was in my post for AAA Birthday card for september, which is still running, so check that out HERE . So these happy ladies are from the Art Impressions Girlfriends series, the Laughing set. I love them! And it was absolutely perfect for this card! I totally picture my Mom and her friend like this rolling over with laughter. I can almost hear them, lol! The wiene...

Mother's day card

Billede
Hello everyone! Just poppin in real quick with this Mother's day card I made for Waffle Flower stitched card challenge #wfc2104w3 I die cut the medium sized die from WF Stitchable hearts 5 times across the panel. I then used 3 different colors of pink to stich only one heart per line.  I popped up the panel with foam squares. Then I cut the Oversized Love you from pink Memory Box glitter cardstock and popped that up also. I used Marianne Designs Eline's lettering alpha's for the tiny "mom" label. Thanks for stopping by! Stay safe and happy crafting! Use those tiny stamps

Billede
This weeks challenge at Waffle Flower challenges us to use tiny stamps. Good thing I finally found my Tumble On set. You see, I bought the set back when it was released and made THIS card for my daughter quite ahead of time (which is really unlike me 😆). And since I didn't want to spoil the surprise with these new cute stamps, I hid them. It was one of those "she'll never find it there"-places. The only problem was I forgot ALL about having hid the stamps and when I needed them I couldn't remember where I'd put it. I've since searched for it now and again, always giving up. This time I was a little bit more persistent and I finally found it - YAY!! I'm sure you can understand my joy and why I wanted to color lots of tiny gymnasts. OK, now onto this card 😉 I first colored all my tiny gals and dudes, as always with my Copic markers. Copics used: E57, E35, E34 / E23, E34, E31, E30 / E11, E21, E00 100, E29, E23 / E79, E77, E74 / E44, E43, E42 / E55, E53...

If flowers were friends...

Hello everyone! Just poppin' in real quick to share another slimline card. Like I said I don't care too much for slimline card designs, but I do like the look of an elongated image for it. So I'm making a few. This actually is only part of a Krista Smith digital stamp. I copic colored the whole panel and then heat embossed this older Waffle Flower Enveloper choice sentiment on a piece of vellum and wrapped it around the panel. How do you like slimline cards? Copics used: Skin: E13, E11, E21, E00 + R22, R20 Eyes: B05, B02, B00 Hair: E51, E55, E23 Shirt: G94, G24, G40 + colorless blender Top: Y38, Y17, Y13, Y11 Hat / flowers: RV14, RV13, RV11, RV10 Pants: W3, W0 + colorless blender Grass: YG17, YG13, YG03, YG01 Thanks for stopping by! AAA Birthday challenge - game #24 Shaped card

Billede
Happy Easter Monday friends! I hope your Easter offered lots of fun, family, relaxing, crafting or whatever you wished for.  Today we're kicking off the April challenge over at AAA Birthday blog and the theme this month is Shaped card. I recently (well some time last year) purchased these cute Whimsy stamps Hap-Bee birthday bees. I think they're so fun! I felt they would be the perfect feature for a hexagon-shaped card, so I stamped the bees and copic colored them. Copics used: Yellow: YR24, YR23, Y17, Y21, Y11  Black: E47, E44, E40 Wings: E55, E53, E50 Mouth: E99, E97, R85, R83 Orange: YR68, YR04, YR82 Teal: BG49, BG15, BG23 I thought it would be fun to also make it an easel card, so I used the largest die in the Waffle Flower Nesting hexagon set to cut these 2 pieces out.  To cut the one on the left I folded a piece of cardstock and placed the edge of the die juuuust outside the paper, so it would cut the whole shape and leave the fold.  Next I folded one h...

Happy Valentine´s Day

Billede
Hello everyone! Just a quick post from me today. Like I said, I don't celebrate Valentine's but I do celebrate love. And I just really love this image.  It's another Make it Crafty digital stamp, colored with Copics, fuzzy cut and popped up on some (really old) patterned paper. Yes, the paper has glitter gel hearts. The "matte" is Copic colored as well and both panels are cut with a Simple & Basic die. Sentiment from Waffle Flower Crafts. Copics used: Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000 Pink: RV17, RV14, RV13, RV11 Red: R89, R29, R46 Black: W9, W7, W5, W3 Hair: E40, E42, E44, E47 Lips: RV29, RV10 Eyes: B97, B23, B00 That's it, guys. MFT challenges - 1 for 3 times 2

Billede
Hello everyone! First, I hope you are all safe, whereever you are. Here in Denmark we are mowing forward to the second round of re-opening. My daughter started school this week. It's still a little worrying, I think, but statistics are good. My cards are inspired by the current sketch challenge at My favorite things. I really like this one! The mermaids were colored during the Daily marker 30 day coloring challenge by Kathy Racoosin. So it was quite easy to make these cards fit the current color and birthday challenges as well. The cards are identical, except for the mermaids. The background bottom is stamped with MFT Happy birthday background and a Waffle Flower crafts ink. The background top is MFT Whimsical waves background stamped on blue cardstock and embossed with WOW! clear embossing powder. The mermaids are also colored with the same colors. Copics used: E04, E11, E00, E000 + R32, R20 E41, E43, E44, E47 YR68, YR09, YR04, Y17, Y21 100, C1 I don...
