Sweet November Stamps Fab Favorites release

Billede
Guess what! The day of the first Sweet November Stamps release of 2025 has finally arrived! This release offers so many wonderful Stamps, so if you love reading, critters, fairies, flowers and/or postage card layouts you'll want to check it out! For my first inspirational card I used the adorable Spill the Tea set. This time around the adorable mice are having tea rather than coffee, and I went with a green lemon tea and decided to adorn the tea pot with some of the images from last years Bountiful Blessings: Squeeze the day. I made a rocking card and added shaker bits from the new Tea Time mix sequins. Don't forget to join our Insta hop where YOU could win the entire release! Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting! AAA Birthday Game #9

Billede
Hello everyone! Today we are starting a new game over at  AAA Birthday  and to kick off 2020 we are having a shaker card theme! I love shaker cards. They are a little time consuming but worth the time spent, because they are so fun and sure to put a smile on evryones face! I've used Avery Elle Be a unicorn. I stamped, colored with Copics and fuzzy cut the image. Then I used a Versamark pen on horn, nose and hooves, covered with WOW! Unicorn Magic and heat set it. Copics used: C3, C1, colorless blender RV23, RV21 I've had this Avery Elle Chevron mat frame for a while but never used it. I cut it 3 times from white cardstock and stamped a sentiment in black as well as a couple of the stars with Spun sugar Distress oxide ink. I also cut the frame from craft foam. I adhered the craft foam to a white piece of cardstock and filled the narrow strips with 6 different colors of glitter in rainbow order. After adhering acetate to the back of the cardstock frame I ahe...

Coffee always helps

Billede
Hello everyone, My first batch of the new Stamping Bella stamps took a while to arrive and I've been too busy to color them, but I finally found some time. This Curvy girl Loves coffee was first on my to-do list. I stamped on Neenah cardstock and colored with Copics, then fuzzycut the image. I added white gelly roll pen details, Spectrum noir clear sparkle and I also gave her a mouth. I'm not entirely sure I like it, but where else is she going to pour that coffee 😁 Copics used: Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000, R32, RV25  Hair: E25, E23, E21 Outfit: BG49, BG45, BG01, RV14, RV13, RV21 Clock: C5, C3, C1, RV29, RV25, RV23 Mug: E47, E44, E43, E42, C3 For the background I started by ink smooshing Worn lipstick and Vintage photo Distress inks. I chose regular Distress for a deeper color and I wanted the brown, because...coffee. But then I didn't like the yellow look of the diluted Vintage photo, so instead I added Ground espresso Oxide ink, whi...

Birthday card for my princess

Billede
Hi everyone, Today is my big girl's 6th birthday. She had her first day of school ever this last Monday. I can't belive how big and independent she is already. For her birthday card she asked for a unicorn. So the search was on for a perfect unicorn to fit on an infinity shaker card. I chose the Whimsy Stamps Mystic. That big curly mane spoke to me. Although rainbow would've been the obvious color choice - 'cause unicorn and it's my daughter's favorite - I chose another favorite of hers, purple. Mostly because I don't have rainbow sequins lol. I stamped on Neenah cardstock, colored with Copics and fuzzy cut it out. Who would've thought Copic V's and BV's work so well together! The horse anatomy is not too well known for me, although I do love horses. But I took inspiration from the shading on the packing for the stamp. And of course I had to shimmer it up with my Spectrum noir Clear sparkle pen. To create the panel for t...

Always be a mermaid

Billede
Hi there! Today we are starting our summer holiday and I wanted to make a card for my daughter. I just had to color up this new Digi Doodles Serina mermaid!    The background was created by ink blending Milled lavendar, Tumbled glass and Mermaid lagoon Distress inks over the Taylored Expressions Sweet scallop stencil. I printed the mermaid and a sentiment from Digi Doodles Mermaid sentiments. I colored the mermaid with my copics in my favorite colors, pink and teal, and fuzzycut it out.  I decided the card needed a shaker element and I used the TE Be a mermaid tail die. I die cut the tail from the background and popped up the background with 2 layers of craft foam. I placed the cut out tail in the negative space. I made sure to prep with my antistatic powder bag and added clear sequins and violet glitter before placing the background on top. I popped up the mermaid and the sentiment. The sentiment is cut with a frame from Lawn Faw...

Birthday cards for her

Billede
Hi there, I'm back after a family vacation with 2 birthday cards for her,  since I decided to use both negative and positive die cuts. First I used the largest My favorite things wonky stitched rectangle to cut out an alcohol ink panel I had already made. Then I used MFT Cheers and Birthday Girl word dies on the panel - I removed all the letters and was really careful to not loose the inside "bubbles" of the letters.     I carefully glued a piece of acetate to the back and glued on the loose bits as well. I hand cut a hole in a frame of white cardstock and placed the alcohol ink panel on top. Then I build up the shaker with crafting foam, used my antistatic bag and filled the tub with sequins, tiny confetti and glitter in colors of  silver, pink and purple. I then cut the MFT layered champagne glass twice. The glass itself is colored with Spun sugar Distress oxide ink and I colored on a couple of details with my Copic ...
