RAM stamps Australian Birds

Billede
*ad / reklame*  Hey everyone, here's a quick card using the beautiful Australian Birds digital stamp from RAM stamps .  Don't forget you can get 10% off using code Tina10 The stamp was released as a Christmas stamp, but I chose to remove the holiday sentiment.  I typically try to stay true to reality in my coloring, so this is my rendition of a Galah, lyrebird and kookaburra.  I colored with Copics, added a sentiment and a few mat gold pearls.  Copic combo RV17, R85, RV34, RV10 C3, C2, C1 E44, E43, E42, E41 Thanks for by, happy crafting.  Tina X

Snowflake wishes cas Christmas card

Billede
Hey everyone! Have you started on your Christmas cards? Or maybe even finished?  I've only just started mine 🙈😂 Anyway, here's an old Make it Crafty digital stamp that I printed in a softer grey tone. Not 100% noline, but noline-ish. I actually really struggled with this when I started. I don't do much noline coloring, so I really need to think hard about it. After coloring in blues and pinks I thought about starting over, but decided to trust the process. And I'm glad I did. Once I colored skin and hair I suddenly was very happy with my coloring. So, trust the process, guys! I kept it simpel with just adding a sentiment (Stamping Bella Uptown Girl Katrina's Christmas kiss) and let's not talk about it being crooked 🙈 that's the downside of rubber stamps, right?! I considered stamping again and cutting it out to cover this, but I wanted the card to be one layer, so... 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, thanks for stopping by. And stay tuned for some exiting news!  Happy Christ...

Winter cutie

Billede
Hey guys, I really love this one. It's a Make it Crafty digital stamp "Felicity". At the same time it's bittersweet, because every time I color one of Zoe's stamps I regret not buying all of them 😔 I'm thinking of keeping this one. Do you keep some of your own cards because you just can't part with them? Sentiment from Concord 9th Winter wear. Copics used: Skin: E13, E11, E00, E000 + R22, R20 Lips: R85, R81 Hair: E79, E27, E57 Eyes: E59, E57, E55 Jacket: E70, E71, E74, E77 (E79) Scarf / hat: RV99, RV95, RV93, RV91 Blouse: RV17, RV09, RV04, RV02 IPOD / pants: 100, C7, C5, C3 Thanks for stopping by! Alex Syberia Designs Christmas card

Billede
Hi everyone! Tina here sharing a cute and simple Christmas card using adorable critters from  the Smile and wave and the Birthday Wonderland sets. I stamped and colored the critters with my Copics and then cut them out. I masked off the bottom of my card panel and then ink blended lightly with Abandoned coral Distress Oxide ink. I then stamped the trees and a sentiment with a matching ink for a soft look. I popped up those cute critters for dimension. I just love how the sentiment fits their expressions. Thanks for stopping by! I'd love to know if you've started your Christmas card production?  Or maybe already sent them out? Let me know in the comments. Tina

Alex Syberia Designs Kickstarter Campaign | Instagram Hop 1 & Giveaway

Billede
Hello everyone! We are continuing the Alex Syberia Designs Kickstarter Campaign and today we're doing it on Instagram, so once you've made your way through my inspiration be sure to hop on over to my IG and follow the hop there to participate! Today I'm again featuring the cute penguins from "Smile and Wave", cute critters from "Birthday Wonderland" and an adorable kitty from "Sparkle & Dance". As soon as I saw this set I knew I wanted to make a galaxy background. To create the galaxy background I first blended a "rainbow" with Distress inks. I then darkened the edges and splattered white acrylic paint diluted with water over it. How adorable is this penguin?! I really love how this turned out. I chose to create a one-layer scene for a couple of the Birthday Wonderland critters, just a bit of masking and then I Copic colored the whole scene with snow covered mountains, foot prints and fallen leaves. Copics used: Hedgehog: E37, ...

Sweet birthday card

Billede
Hi guys! I don't typically create cards like this one, but I love the look so I'll try to do a couple of them. For this card I used a Make it Crafty digital stamp. I backed it with patterned paper from an old Reverse Confetti pad and added a bit of thin twine. I didn't want to take away from the beautiful soft look, so I left the congrats cut (My favorite things) white. I absolutely adore this soft blue, how 'bout you? (see what I did there?) "Funny" story with the hair. I colored all of the hair, except for one small portion at the front, and then left it until the next day. Bad idea! It came out darker and I didn't want to darken the rest, so you can actually tell which portion it is. oh, well.... Copics used: Dress: B66, B63, B60 Skin: E13, E11, E21, E00 + R32 Eyes: B26, B24, B21, B000 Hair: E37, E34, E30 Thanks so much for stopping by! Stay safe, and happy crafting. Tina

Miss you card

Billede
Hey everyone! Here's a cute, CAS miss you / love card using Krista Smith - Tattoo digital stamp. The hearts are My favorite things Love speech bubbles. I colored in the hearts and the speech bubbles I cut from pink glitter cardstock from Memory Box. Sentiment is from Pinkfresh Studio white heat embossed. As for the patterned paper I have absolutely no idea what brand it is, since it was a freebie in a Simon says stamp order a long time ago. Copics used: Skin: E13, E11, E21, E00 + R32 Lips: RV14, RV13 Eyes: E25, E23, E21 Hair: E37, E34, E30 Pink: R89, R85, R83, R81 White: W3, W1, W0 G43, G40 + B02, B00 Hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by. Stay safe, and happy crafting. Tina

AAA Cards guest designer - Game #206 Moodboard

Billede
Hello everyone! Today I'm so honored to be guest designing over on the AAA Cards challenge blog. It's a blog dedicated to CAS cards (clean and simple). I don't typically do CAS cards, although I have done quite a few this past year.  The theme this month is this beautyful mood board, and I feel I've incoorporated the elements quite well - snowflake, snow, sky blue, dog, fence/gate. I encourage you to stop by the AAA Cards blog since there is a challenge hop with prizes to be won! I stamped and masked to create this one-layer scene using My favorite things Warmest wishes, Snow buddies and Best in show and then Copic colored the scene using mainly B60-ies and C's. The sky was ink blended though. I also added a bit of Liquid applique and sprinkled over some glitter before setting it. I used a sentiment from MFT Warm wishes and heat embossed it onto vellum. I placed the vellum on top of a white snowflake - Simon says stamp Sophie snowflake - and placed it over some c...

Secret santa monochromatic Christmas

Billede
I know Christmas is long over, but I still have Christmas cards to share. Hope you don't mind. So I couldn't send off Christmas cards for the Danish operation write home without using my favorite set - My favorite things Secret santa. I kept them really simple, and honestly my starting point was using just one marker for everything colored. But then I changed my mind and I did use a little more. I used pinks for the girl cards and reds for the boys cards. The Simple and Basic Julekram (Christmas hug) die is died with Distress ink smooshing.  And the matte? Totally cheating there and added a thin line with a Copic marker. Thanks for stopping by! Let me know in the comments what your favorite Christmas stamp set/die is. Stay safe, and happy crafting! Tina
