Wondering Wabbit stamps Winter Mouse

Billede
Hey everyone! I fell in love with this cutie the moment I saw him, so I made a card and a tag to go along with it. For the card background I masked off the bottom to make a snowy hill and blended the background with Salvaged Patina Distress ink and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide.  Unfortunately I made myself believe I had a Salvaged Patina Oxide and I colored the mice to match. So the inks looked a bit different and to hide that I added some texture paste through a snow stencil. Should I have added glitter? 🤔 Anyway, the sentiments come with the mouse and I just love Nathalie's snarky sentiments as much as her cute critters.  Tag die from Nellie's.  Copics used W5, W3, W1, W0, W00 + RV11 + RV34 BG15, BG13, BG23, BG11 RV04, RV02, RV00 C2, C1, C00 *Ad / reklame* Since I'm on the design team. Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy crafting.  Tina X

RAM stamps December release

Billede
**Ad / reklame The adorable December release from RAM stamps is now available, and since I love everything deer it should come as no surprise that I colored up the Holly Jolly Elf . I even flipped it and colored it twice.  As you can see, Santa's elves are readying Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer for a busy night of delivering presents. Santa is from Woodland Santa and I doubled and flipped this image too, to balance the scene with one more tree. I did have to cover up the fox on the flipped image, no biggie. Here are a couple of close-ups. I went to town and colored the whole scene with my Copic markers: E47, E44, E43, E42 + E79, E77, E74, E71 (deer)  E04, E11, E00, E000 + R32 R89, R85, R83, R81 G46, G43, YG61 E23, E55, E53 (shoes)  E51, E55 (hair)  100, C7, C5 Y26, Y28 (buckle + reins)  W3, W1 (white)  E42, E41 (beard)   E41, E42, E43, E44 (burlap sack)  C3, C1, RV02 (critters)  BG78, BG57, G46 (trees)  BG10, BG70, BG72, BG...

RAM stamps Penguin & Snowman

Billede
Hi everyone! I'm super excited to share that I've joined the Rachelle Ann Miller stamps design team. I feel so honored to join this team of very talented ladies! For my first card I've used " Penguin & Snowman: sledding " from the recently released November release. I'm a Copics girl, and I colored both image and background with markers. I did however pop up the image for a bit of dimension.  I wanted there to be snow everywhere from the sled flying by. I first splattered with white acrylic paint diluted with water, but it just didn't do it for me. So I added an ultra high white embossing powder, and I love how that turned out.  Copics used: B00, B0000 + E33 100, C9, C7, C5 + W1 YR68, YR16, YR15 E08, E99, E97 E27, E57, E55 RV66, RV34, R81 BG15, BG34, BG11 BG72, BG53, BG000 Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting! Tina Please note: I'm using affiliate links at no extra cost to you, that will give me a small commission. Feel free to use my personal d...

Snowflake wishes cas Christmas card

Billede
Hey everyone! Have you started on your Christmas cards? Or maybe even finished?  I've only just started mine 🙈😂 Anyway, here's an old Make it Crafty digital stamp that I printed in a softer grey tone. Not 100% noline, but noline-ish. I actually really struggled with this when I started. I don't do much noline coloring, so I really need to think hard about it. After coloring in blues and pinks I thought about starting over, but decided to trust the process. And I'm glad I did. Once I colored skin and hair I suddenly was very happy with my coloring. So, trust the process, guys! I kept it simpel with just adding a sentiment (Stamping Bella Uptown Girl Katrina's Christmas kiss) and let's not talk about it being crooked 🙈 that's the downside of rubber stamps, right?! I considered stamping again and cutting it out to cover this, but I wanted the card to be one layer, so... 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, thanks for stopping by. And stay tuned for some exiting news!  Happy Christ...

Mama Elephant Snow Angels

Billede
Hi everyone! Sharing a couple of Christmas cards I made last year for the Danish Operation write home using Mama Elephant Snow Angels, My favorite things Joyous Christmas Sentiments, a couple of inks and Copics for coloring. On this last card I accidentally used a different color ink and it's more yellowish green than light blue. I didn't like it a lot, but opted to use it anyway. What do you think? Should I have thrown it out? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe, and happy crafting! Tina

Simple color burst winter cards

Billede
Hey everyone! Sharing a set of cards today. They were made in the same way.  Now, I colored these cuties from My favorite things first, and then created the backgrounds after so I would have coordinating colors. Remember to lightly spritz your watercolor paper on both sides, it won't stop warping completely but it will help so the paper doesn't just curls back on itself. And, although you can dry them with your heat tool I honestly prefer to let them air dry. In my opinion it makes a difference although techniccaly it shouldn't.   For the purple card I used Nuvo Lilac waterfall and Lindy's magical shaker Black forest. For the blue card I used Nuvo Atlantic burst and Lindy's magical shaker Bavarian blue. I have collected quite a few of these powderd and I love them all on their own, but they just create MAGIC! when used together. And the photos really don't do the shimmer any justice. The stamps are from My favorite things Warmest wishes and Winter buddies. I d...

Guest Designing for 52 CCT

Billede
Hello everyone! I wish I could say I have enough determination to make Christmas cards year round, because it would save me a lot of stress. But I just don't. I love Christmas, at Christmas. But I get really annoyed when the stores decorate at the beginning of October. I mean, seriously...? But - I was chosen winner at  Christmas card throwdown blog  this Christmas and asked to guest design. I'm honored and delighted to do so. And honestly, the My favorite things Happy pawlidays doggies are the cutest, and so I enjoyed this so much I made 2 cards. For the background I ink blended Candied apple Distress ink through a Three Scoops Christmas stencil. Love this stencil. The sentiment from MFT Handwritten holiday is heat embossed with WOW! Red glitz embossing glitter. Since the theme is Christmas lights I highlighted them with glossy accents. Copics used: E77, E74, E71, E70 R39, R29, R24 100, C7, C5 (nose) C3, C1 (hat/lights) I cut the panel slightly smaller t...
