Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a custom made project. The European song contest has been running for many years and today they also have a childrens contest. 2 lucky girls will receive VIP tickets for next years show, and to spice it up I was asked to create VIP passes in pink and gold colors. I added a little glam and sparkle details with a white and gold gelly roll pens. Birthday card for my niece

Billede
Hello everyone! Thursday was not only my Dad's birthday, but also my little niece's first birthday. I can't believe she's 1 already! She's in such a hurry - walking at 9 months, throwing things, climbing onto things in order to reach, eating hardy meals, etc. We've all celebrated her (and her daddy) today, and I told Mommy (my sis) that I expected my niece to have her own cake. Well, here's one at least, lol! On Neenah cardstock I printed The Paper Shelter You're my cuppycake, colored it with Copics and die cut with a Nellie Snellen Straight dotted oval die. I wanted the hair color close to reality (yes, she's hot tempered, ha!), but man was it difficult matching girly colors with that color hair! Copics used: Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000, R20 Lips: RV14, RV13, R20 Hair: YR21, YR23, YR27, E37 Skirt + buttercream: R85, R83, R81, RV11 Blouse: BV17, BV13, BV02, BV00 Chocolate cake: E49, E59, E25, E23 Vanilla cake: E25, E34, E31 ...

You are beautiful

Hello there,  Today I have a fun card for you, so grab a cuppa 'cause there's lots of details! I started with the background. I used the My favorite things Roses background, my Misti, 4 watercolor markers and a water spritzer. After placing the stamp in my Misti I scribbled the markers on the stamp, making sure I colored the whole thing and trying not to overlap. I wanted pink and blue, not purple. I then spritzed a couple of times with my water spritzer and closed the Misti door. I let the stamp sit for a few seconds before removing it. I set the background aside to let it dry. On Neenah cardstock I printed this cute "She is charming" digital image from The Paper Shelter. I also printed a mirrored image. I colored the images with Copics as alike as possible. The original image was fuzzy cut. The other was die cut with the second smallest MFT linked chain circle. I felt the circle frame could easily be a mirror frame. After die cutting t...

Summer fun!

Billede
Hi there and welcome, Today I have this bright and joyful summer fun card to share. So, The daily marker 30 day challenge by Kathy Racoosin is over and I've commenced summer holidays with my family. But that doesn't mean there's no coloring. I often color with my daughter, and I love the special times we share! For this card I printed the Paper Shelter image Coconut on Neenah, colored it with my Copics and die cut with a My favorite things Elegant rectangle die. From pineapple patterned paper I die cut with a larger die from that same set. I backed it with a panel of pink cardstock. These flowers... Don't get me started. They are Joy! dies and my first ever rolled flowers. I thought the Sissix felt was wool. It wasn't! And they were practically impossible to roll. I almost gave up a couple of times, but in the end they came out looking alright. The leaves are MFT Fab foliage cut from white cardstock and colored with Copics. To finish off t...
