Tickled pink

Here's another colored digital image. This is the Lemon Shortbread Flamingo colored with Copics and then die cut with the largest My favorite things Stitched Pinking edge square die. With the same die I also die cut from patterned paper.

The sentiment is the Hero Arts Hello stamp and cut. First I die cut the hello 4 times from pink cardstock. To create the ombre look I first embossed the top layer with 4(!) layers of WOW! Opaque pastel pink embossing powder. Then I applied the WOW! embossing ink ONLY to the lower part of the cut out and covered it with WOW! Metalline red embossing powder and heat set that as well. I used the same embossing powder to emboss "beautiful" on pink cardstock.

TIP: The die does not come with a shadow, but i turned it upside down on a pink piece of cardstock and used a pencil to draw along the edge of the die and then handcut it. You can do this with all your dies, and noone will ever know.

On a panel of patterned paper I popped up the colored panel and sentiments with craft foam and foam squares for dimension.
