Coffee always helps
Hello everyone,
My first batch of the new Stamping Bella stamps took a while to arrive and I've been too busy to color them, but I finally found some time. This Curvy girl Loves coffee was first on my to-do list.
I stamped on Neenah cardstock and colored with Copics, then fuzzycut the image. I added white gelly roll pen details, Spectrum noir clear sparkle and I also gave her a mouth. I'm not entirely sure I like it, but where else is she going to pour that coffee 😁
Copics used:
Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000, R32, RV25
Hair: E25, E23, E21
Outfit: BG49, BG45, BG01, RV14, RV13, RV21
Clock: C5, C3, C1, RV29, RV25, RV23
Mug: E47, E44, E43, E42, C3
For the background I started by ink smooshing Worn lipstick and Vintage photo Distress inks. I chose regular Distress for a deeper color and I wanted the brown, because...coffee. But then I didn't like the yellow look of the diluted Vintage photo, so instead I added Ground espresso Oxide ink, which I liked much better.
I then stamped the coffee beans and rings from the Leane Creatief Coffee beans and stains set with WOW! embossing ink and heat embossed with WOW! Bark embossing powder.
The coffee shaker is Crealies small Mug to go, and yes those are real coffee beans. I wanted to try that. I was actually surprised how many layers I needed to fit them in, and because of that I used my E44 Copic on the sides. The lid is C5, C3 and C1. Striped paper is Doodlebug and the sentiment is from the Stamping Bella set, heat embossed in black.
I'm really happy with this, and hope it inspires you!
Thank you for stopping by, and happy crafting!

Thank you so much, Tamie!
SletSo much detail in this card (you even colored the foam!), added to your overflowing creativity, makes for a phenomenal card! I love the curvy girls & wish I saw them more often. I don't often get them myself because they are missing a both a nose and a mouth and that just freaks me out! Missing one of the 2, I can handle. Both - eeek! It's a thing! :) The little pursed bow mouth you drew in is just adorable! Between you and the other Nordic Tina, I'm hoping that I will get my fix of the curvy gals & won't have to buy any myself! Ha! We'll see how well that works out for me!
SvarSletThank you so much, sweet Enna, for "running" over here! And thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate it! Actually the layers of the coffe cup is cardstock, not foam. I find that foam isn't true to the shape and instead of the hassle I cut cardstock. I must admit that after realizing the first 5 layers was nowhere near enough I wishes I had used foam, but oh well. In all honesty, the missing "face" is what have kept me from buying Bella's, but then I bought one with doggies and then this coffee girl was released and things got... a little out of hand (ooops!). I practiced the mouth, and I still regretted it after doing it on this, but there was no way back. I foresee that instead of getting your fix from the Tinas you are going to want your own - winking smiley inserted. Hugs XoX Tina
SletThis is fabulous! I love your splashed background with the embossed coffee beans and rings. The use of the coffee beans in the cup was genius! Cute image of that coffee girl, too. Thanks for playing along with us at JUGS!
