Guest designer for The Male Room challenge
Today I'm really honored to be a guest over at The male room challenge blog. Who would have thought I would get to do that? Because male cards are a little hard to do, right? Thank you so much for having me! The theme is a fun one - HALLOWEEN!
The Digi Doodle Designs Manny Mummy was a freebie at Kit and Cowder and I thought it was perfect for this card! I printed on Neenah cardstock and colored with Copics.
Bandages: C3, C00
Clothes: 100, C9, C5
Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000
Hair: E23, E25, E27
Lamp: C7, C3, YR04, Y02, YR24, YR23, YR21
Glow: Y21, Y00, Y000
Treat bag: YR09, YR04, Y17, 100, C5
I used a My favorite things Mod stitched rectangle die to cut out the image. I also cut out the Poppystamps Friendly cat and colored with Copics: 100, C7, C5, C3 and YG01 for a little glow from the lamp.
For the background I inked a panel with Twisted citron, Mowed lawn, Lucky clover and Black soot Distress Oxide inks and cut it out using a larger Mod rectangle die. The 2 quirky sentiments and the bat stamp are from the Poppystamps Halloween fun set. The sentiments are heat embossed with Hero Arts gold embossing powder. The image and cat are popped up for dimension.
Hope you like my inspiration. Don't forget to join the fun!
Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting!
