A rainbow of Dahlias

Hello everyone! I'm still playing with the new Alex Syberia digital stamps release. Today, another favorite flower of mine. The Dahlia.
For this card I used the Dahilas slim card design and covered up the right side of the design to be able to add the Dahila cherish. This gave me 2 large flowers.
I ink blended Shaded lilac, Worn lipstick, Mustard seed and Peacock feathers Distress inks, making sure to overlap for a full rainbow look.
I was gonna leave at that, but... Well, I am a colorist, so I decided to add shading.

I added the panel to a black base, stamped a sentiment (Technique Tuesday - Just us girls) and added dots of clear Nuvo drops.

    Being a lover of 'anything rainbow' I fell in love with this immediately. Love the slim-line shape and your blending of the colours is seamless. Jeg laver ellers ikke blog på dansk, men men tænkte at der måske var nogle som kunne gøre brug af det.  Jeg har længe villet lave en blog post om Copic vedligeholdelse - også kendt som Copic spa day - og nu har jeg endelig fundet tid til det.  Det er en lang post, så hent en kop kaffe og sæt dig til rette.  For god ordens skyld gør jeg opmærksom på, at jeg viser min egen foretrukne metode og at alle holdninger er mine egne. Teksten må ikke kopieres eller gengives uden accept.  Først og fremmest - HVORFOR bør man bruge tid på at rengøre sine tuscher?  Du har endelig købt nogle tuscher, nogle ret dyre tuscher i min optik, og nu vil du bare farvelægge. Har jeg ret?  Rengøring af så mange tuscher tager lidt tid og jeg forstår fuldt ud, hvis nogle synes det er langsommeligt og spild af tid. Men hvad hvis jeg siger, at vedligeholdelse af dine Copic tuscher vil forlænge deres levetid og forbedre brugen af dem? Rengøring er essentielt for alle Copic-bru...

Australia is burning!

Hey guys. How heartbroken are you to see all the burned animals in Australia? I can't even.... I chose this digital image  Lili of the valley Koala . The profits of the sale from this cutie will be donated to the WWF Australian bushfires relief, so get shopping people! I colored it with Copics and cut it with a My favorite things Wonky stitched frame. Copics used: Koala: W5, W3, W1, W0 + C1 Tree: E50, G40, E42, E31, E34 Leaves: BG57, G02, G00, YG01 Flowers: YG17, YG06, YG03, Y000 Butterfly: YG06, YG01, E44, E47 I also printed this Make it Crafty Gumnut flower corner and fuzzy cut it out. I "colored" the flowers with a white Sakura gelly roll pen. Copics used: Leaves: BG57, G02, G00, YG01 Flowers + stem: YG17, YG06, YG03, Y000 I stamped a sentiment from Poppystamps Whittles Everyday and popped up the panel and gum leaves.
