His and hers confirmation card

Hello everyone! I'm back. If just for a short notice. Summer break is happening and blogging is just not a priority right now. 
Today I'm showing 2 custom made confirmation cards. Confirmations are usually happening in the spring but due to Covid-19 things have been postponed until late summer and fall.
This is a Make it Crafty digital stamp. I copic colored and die cut using a My favorite things pierced circle die.
Copics used:
Dress: W3, W0, colorless blender
Flowers: BV04, BV13, BV02, BV01 + Y11, Y28 + YG06, YG01
Skin: E13, E11, E00, E000 + R32, R20 + RV13
Eyes: B05, B02, B00
Hair: E51, E53, E55
I die cut this Dixi craft die 3 times, stacked them and first heat embossed with WOW! Royal crush but found it melted into the background. So I embossed 2 layers of Purple glitz on top. The pink of the Royal crush still shows through but I like it. And the layers of glitter embosing means the texture is more smooth. I love that!
The recipient of this card loves gummy bears so I repeatedly stamped the background with the Three Scoops gummy bears from "Du er sød" (you are sweet) with an Altenew purple ink. 
Now this card you may have guessed is for a gamer, lol. The controller die is from Yvonne creations and I used a few copic markers for the colored and grey parts. 
 
The gamer is from Mo's digital stamps, and of course I colored with copics:

Shadow on wall: BG75, BG72, BG70 
I cut out the gamer using a My favorite things Cross-stitched square and tried to channel Inge Groots layers cutting another square from Lawn Fawn patterned paper and creating the bottom paper myself using the MFT Diagonal bars stencil and Faded jeans oxide ink. Finished off with the same "årets konfirmand" word die from Dixi craft cut from black cardstock. It translates to "Confirmand of the year".

Copic vedligeholdelse - hvordan & hvorfor

Jeg laver ellers ikke blog på dansk, men men tænkte at der måske var nogle som kunne gøre brug af det.  Jeg har længe villet lave en blog post om Copic vedligeholdelse - også kendt som Copic spa day - og nu har jeg endelig fundet tid til det.  Det er en lang post, så hent en kop kaffe og sæt dig til rette.  For god ordens skyld gør jeg opmærksom på, at jeg viser min egen foretrukne metode og at alle holdninger er mine egne. Teksten må ikke kopieres eller gengives uden accept.  Først og fremmest - HVORFOR bør man bruge tid på at rengøre sine tuscher?  Du har endelig købt nogle tuscher, nogle ret dyre tuscher i min optik, og nu vil du bare farvelægge. Har jeg ret?  Rengøring af så mange tuscher tager lidt tid og jeg forstår fuldt ud, hvis nogle synes det er langsommeligt og spild af tid. Men hvad hvis jeg siger, at vedligeholdelse af dine Copic tuscher vil forlænge deres levetid og forbedre brugen af dem? Rengøring er essentielt for alle Copic-brugere, uanset hvor meget eller hvor

Masculine birthday card

Hey everyone, Today I'm sharing a masculine card. It seems to be something a lot of us strugle with, but since I had my oxide inks out (see post from yesterday) I ink blended one more panel using Faded jeans, Broken China and Cracked Pistacio. I just love this combo. I placed the panel in my Misti and prepped it with my antistatic powder tool before stamping the Simon Says Stamp Ornate background stamp. This is one of my all time favorite stamps and I keep going back to it. I often use my Versafine Onyx black and clear embossing powder, but for this I used Stampendous black embossing powder because it has a really gorgeous raised glossy look.  Just look at that shine! The TILLYKKE sentiment simply means congrats and is from Simple and Basic. I die cut it from black cardstock 4 times for dimension, and covered the top layer in WOW! embossing Vintage peacock glitter. TIP: The die does not come with a shadow, but i turned it upside down on a black
