AAA Birthday card challenge #18 Photo inspiration
Hello everyone! Today we are kicking off the AAA Birthday October challenge with a photo inspiration, and just look at those gorgeous fall colors. I'm sure you can find inspiration there.
For this card I used the Concord & 9th Birthday basics turnabout stamp. I used 4 inks - green, yellow, orange and pink on a large panel so I can use the rest for a second card, but here I cut a panel with the second largest die from Simple and Basic pierced rectangles. I also cut a panel with the largest die from that set and colored the edges by swiping the same pink ink.
I meassured out where I wanted my critter to place the YAY! and happy birthday stamps. After stamping that I used the brand new medium size "Organic shaped holes" die to cut through all 3 layers to create a window to the inside of the card.
I made sure to put the cute hedgie in the correct position to create a tiny scene on the inside of the card. The images are from My favorite things Happy hedgehogs and colored with Copic markers.
I love that these peek-a-boo holes are "organic" and not completely circular. What do you think?

That's so fun! Love how the photo inspired you in a totally different way to me. All I saw was flowers but you've been so much more creative!
SvarSletOh my goodness...love your little peek-a-boo card. The squirrel is very cute. Thank you for sharing your card this week at Polkadoodles.
