Hello everyone! I'm up on Alex Syberia Design blog today. I honestly couldn't tell you why but I have this thing for koi fish. I think they're so beautiful. So when I saw this Underwater World card panel with cute fish and zentangle pattern I knew I had to color it up!

Admitted, I did strugle a bit with coordinating the colors but I like how it turned out.
Copics used:
Koi: R29, R27, R24, YR68, YR04 + R01, E000 + W5, W1, W0
Pink: RV09, RV66, RV06, RV04 + Y06
White flower: YR82, YR000
Large shell: V17, RV95, RV93, RV91
small shells: R32, R11
Zentangle: V09, RV09, YR04, W3
Ocean: W9, B69, B26,  B24, BG53, BG10

I'm not one for swatching, but my embossing powders are the exception. That came in handy for this card since I wanted to add a bit of glitter. Who knew there's quite a lot of difference to holographic powders. For the purple zentangle bows I used WOW Clear Hologram sparkle which has a blueish shine and for the koi fish I used Ranger Holographic which has a golden shine.

All that was missing was a sentiment and I found the perfect one in My favorite things Mermazing set.

Hi there! So, I just found out there's a card challenge blog for mostly pink cards. I mean, that's my place to be! So without further ado. The image is Polkadoodles Ruby birthday cake printed on Bristol smooth. Originally printed for my DT card for AAA Birthday challenge, but the paper is simply too thick for my printer and was ruined. But I could salvage this image, and now I colored her with my Arteza markers and fuzzy cut it. The background is ink smooshed with Spun suger, Picked raspberry and Seedless preserves Distress ink. I just love the look! I cut it with a double pierced rectangle from Simple and basic. The sentiment is from MFT Queen for the day. I was very indecisive about the color of the sentiment, I didn't like the black, so I stamped again with Versafine Onyx black ink and sprinkled over WOW! Always be a mermaid

Hi there! Today we are starting our summer holiday and I wanted to make a card for my daughter. I just had to color up this new Digi Doodles Serina mermaid!    The background was created by ink blending Milled lavendar, Tumbled glass and Mermaid lagoon Distress inks over the Taylored Expressions Sweet scallop stencil. I printed the mermaid and a sentiment from Digi Doodles Mermaid sentiments. I colored the mermaid with my copics in my favorite colors, pink and teal, and fuzzycut it out.  I decided the card needed a shaker element and I used the TE Be a mermaid tail die. I die cut the tail from the background and popped up the background with 2 layers of craft foam. I placed the cut out tail in the negative space. I made sure to prep with my antistatic powder bag and added clear sequins and violet glitter before placing the background on top. I popped up the mermaid and the sentiment.
