Aurora winter night, Sweet November Stamps

I printed this adorable scene with the deer and snowman kissing noses. I'd be on the fence about the deer tough. We all saw how Sven tried to steal Olafs nose 😄

Anyway, here's my first Copic aurora sky. I think it's my first anyway. I struggled a bit, to be honest. I had colored the reds on the snowman and the reference photo (below) had a lot of purple in it. I didn't think that would work, so I instead used hot pinks. But that definitely didn't work.

To try and salvage it I started going over with purples which I liked much better. I then darkened it further with purple.

Also, I had just watched a coloring video from Elaine (Markergeek) and she used B90ies for her snow. I know right, that's dark. But since it's a night scene I figured I'd give it a go.

So, how did I do?
