(Ad) Last weekend there was a new digital release at Sweet November Stamps. It's called Last days of summer and included 4 different images of girls enjoying their summer.  I wasn't able to create in time for the release, but I just couldn't resist Skylar. Especially since last weekend, coming home from our summer holiday, we brought our new pup, Simba. Our old boy Gomez sadly passed about a month ago, and the house has been way too quiet. I knew I wanted to create this card for my daughter, and the pup is colored to look like our little Simba, but I wasn't sure how to go about the background layout. I was thinking that I could color our garden, but it would be so heavy in greens. Looking for a sentiment I stumbled over an old MFT DT card by Adelle Emery, and I really liked the dispersed white on white hearts, so all credits to her.  The heart cut is from MFT Paw Prints, and sentiment from New best friend. Today we are visiting the Mermaid Lagoon where love is definitely in the air.  Mariner Sevenseas is trying to catch Oceana's attention, and by the looks of it he's got it! Hey Rammy's! Today I'm sharing this adorable "Storytime" forest scene of Mr. Fox reading a bedtime story for forest friends. How adorable is this scene? I absolutely love it! I die cut the colored scene using a Mod Square die from My favorite things and adhered it on top of a square piece of patterned paper from Maker Forte/Alex Syberia.  I popped this up over a panel that I'd embossed using Tim Holtz Lumber embossing folder and then run over with a brown ink to accent the texture.  As a final touch I added a few gems and a sentiment from Hero Arts.   Today I'm sharing a cute scene of a beautiful mermaid enjoying a swim with a cute dolphin. Don't you just love dolphins? The mermaid and dolphin are from The Greeting Farm Mermaids Galore kit, and the background stamp is from Sweet November Stamps Horizon lines: Under the sea.   (Ad) I just love Nathalie's imagination and creativity, and she's drawn this set of Best Friends who have some similarity with Winnie the Pooh and his gang of friends. Now, you could of course color these up as you wish, but my sister's name happens to be Winnie, and since her birthday was yesterday I colored this up for her. I even set it into a frame. I used Tree House by Sweet November Stamps and a few sentiments made in Word.
