Twist & pop 50th birthday card

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a custom made 50th birthday card. I didn't have much to go on, except "stripes" and my friend who ordered it likes "surprise" in cards. So I wanted to make a fun pop-up card.

I stenciled the background (Birch Press stencil) for the stripes part and stamped a sentiment (The Cat's Pajamas). The beautiful peony arrangement is from Simon Says Stamp (Strangeness).

On the inside I made a fun twist and pop feature (no dies) and I cut the letters TILLYKKE (which means congrats) with Altenew Bold alpha dies and since I thought it looked a bit too white I used a fine liner to add lines and flowers.

Did someone say pink?

Hi there! So, I just found out there's a card challenge blog for mostly pink cards. I mean, that's my place to be! So without further ado. The image is Polkadoodles Ruby birthday cake printed on Bristol smooth. Originally printed for my DT card for AAA Birthday challenge, but the paper is simply too thick for my printer and was ruined. But I could salvage this image, and now I colored her with my Arteza markers and fuzzy cut it. The background is ink smooshed with Spun suger, Picked raspberry and Seedless preserves Distress ink. I just love the look! I cut it with a double pierced rectangle from Simple and basic. The sentiment is from MFT Queen for the day. I was very indecisive about the color of the sentiment, I didn't like the black, so I stamped again with Versafine Onyx black ink and sprinkled over WOW! Always be a mermaid

Hi there! Today we are starting our summer holiday and I wanted to make a card for my daughter. I just had to color up this new Digi Doodles Serina mermaid!    The background was created by ink blending Milled lavendar, Tumbled glass and Mermaid lagoon Distress inks over the Taylored Expressions Sweet scallop stencil. I printed the mermaid and a sentiment from Digi Doodles Mermaid sentiments. I colored the mermaid with my copics in my favorite colors, pink and teal, and fuzzycut it out.  I decided the card needed a shaker element and I used the TE Be a mermaid tail die. I die cut the tail from the background and popped up the background with 2 layers of craft foam. I placed the cut out tail in the negative space. I made sure to prep with my antistatic powder bag and added clear sequins and violet glitter before placing the background on top. I popped up the mermaid and the sentiment. Sweet November Stamps - SN Gals Libby and Laura

  Here's another look at the 2 lovely SN Gals taking a break with their favorite books.  For this card I used the girl standing (I'm thinking this is Libby). She's created a speciel reading nook where she can enjoy a coffee and her favorite books while Rex takes a nap. To create the scene I also used the new Simple Room Reading nook add-on.
